lmao by the way, in case anyone wants to know a trick to beating him, make Sazh your party leader. It's how I beat him. Have him as a Ravager and keep using: fire/firestrike/fire/firestrik­e/fire. Everytime he does that he takes steps back. Pretty soon he'll be out of firing range and can't get hurt at all. It may take a bit but just do that till he dies. As for staying alive till ur out of range, just have a syn and medic. Unless you have great skills, go kick that giant's green ass!

If I remember correctly the only effective way to beat this "Cacturn" XD is by making the equipment combo where you can randomly stagger and enemy with a single hit, because even for Max Lv character it can be a 10 second death, and with the random stagger you'll kill it in less than 15sec or retry if it doesn't kick in.
