Absolutely stupid. I'm trying to watch the 4OD clip Charlie Brooker on the Media's Japan coverage, but I am being blocked from watching it due to my country. I live in the UK!! Not only that, but all the Yanks who are watching it on the B-roll forum are having no trouble at all seeing it! Sort it out Channel 4!

This assumes that you are using firefox as a browser. Install the ad-block extension for firefox. Once you have ad block installed click the adblock logo in the top right of the browser then click preferences, then click  filters, then click add filter subscription. I selected the easy list. Adblock not only blocks the ads on you tube, it blocks ads all over the web, such a good thing to have.

4OD adverts are far too annoying so I never watch it. Adblock Plus stops the adverts but the player just sits there trying to load the advert and the main program never gets to play. Adblock works fine with all other youtube channel adverts though - I never see them and the content plays as normal.

For the two or three C4 programs worth watching, it's easier to either find them elsewhere online or download the torrent. Oddly, last time I looked, C4's own website lets adblock do it's job...

Get a faster connection and it wont. 4OD was way better when it was in the application, now that it's in the browser the quality is crap, screen size is crap, navigation is crap. BBC iPlayer is actually better than it now. :/
