i live in NV but I lived in CA when the attacks happened.... my father, little brother and I watched the attacks on TV.... we felt helpless, scared, and mad all at once... but we had faith that President Bush would keep us safe... My family and I will never forget 9/11.... never...
I was down there that morning. The year after and when they tolled the bell a huge wind burst kicked up each time leaving some covered in dust from the site and also some of us leaned up against the buildings getting the soot on us that caked onto the buildings. Just an amazing and sobering experience when you see the best of people come together.
New york will never be the same, too many things changed on 9/11, there is people in that city that saw those towers get built and then saw them destroyed. I think the change in New Yorks emotions is represented by the change in the city`s Skyline.
New Yorkers have changed but you can still see the aftermath from 9-11 and they are not ok I use to love gojng into the city now I get an ill feeling.
You've done a very good job; thank you for sharing.
