He had given them gold to keep until his return from a distant land and was talking about his return and how 2 of the servants had invested the gold and increased it and the 3rd had not. I have already agreed with you. Jesus is not God. He does not claim to be God, nor to be worshipped as God. However, there is a difference to Jesus when compared to other prophets. He is the son, the only one without sin. If you know the son, you know the father. He is as we were intended to be. Salvation is a gift. If you live by the law, you will judged by the law, and you will be condemned. I love God because i'm not good, yet he offered me forgiveness.

Israel are God's chosen people, which separates them from the nations around them - like Ammorites, Jebusites, Babylonians etc. The angles and Israel are not THE son of God. Read Hebrews chapter 1. In verse 9 says about the son: "therefore God, your God has set you above your companions." This is God the Father talking to Jesus.

He did give the diciples and the future church the command to eat the bread (his body) and wine (his blood) in remeberance of him and to give thanks for what he did for us at the last supper. This is a way we worship Jesus. I cannot recall him saying not to worship him; he definitely said to worship God. He also said the only way to the father was through him.

@PeacefulOnly We do have an explanation about the devil: he was thrown out of heaven because he became envious and wanted God's place and to be worshiped himself. It speaks about it in Ezekial 29:12-19, refering to Satan as the King of Tyre. @PeacefulOnly What it meant was the sacrifice of bulls, goats and lambs was never enough to take away the sin of man completely. Adam sined, this brought sin into the world. So from Adam onwards man was born with the tendancy to sin. The reason God the father sent his son was because he was sinless, and his hideous death satisfied God that whoever believed in the name of his son should be forgiven. Doing this also showed God's love for the world, that he would put his son throuigh such a death.

That particular passage was in fact part of a parable of a rich man who was speaking of his servants. He had given them gold to keep until his return from a distant land and was talking about his return and how 2 of the servants had invested the gold and increased it and the 3rd had not. This is not Jesus talking of how to treat people who believe not in him.

If we can interpretate the return of that king and his judgment of those mens' profit , as the last day and day of judgement, we can asumme, the verse they read is the affirmation that those "who dont' deserve heaven" are going to be thrown in hell or "killed in his prescense". I have already agreed with you. Jesus is not God. He does not claim to be God, nor to be worshipped as God. However, there is a difference to Jesus when compared to other prophets. He is the son, the only one without sin. If you know the son, you know the father. He is as we were intended to be. Salvation is a gift. If you live by the law, you will judged by the law, and you will be condemned. I love God because i'm not good, yet he offered me forgiveness.

@PeacefulOnly My friend, with those verses you're getting mixed up with the angels and Israel. The angels are refered to as sons of God. Israel are God's chosen people, which separates them from the nations around them - like Ammorites, Jebusites, Babylonians etc. The angles and Israel are not THE son of God. Read Hebrews chapter 1. In verse 9 says about the son: "therefore God, your God has set you above your companions." This is God the Father talking to Jesus.

You cannot say God would have created millions of sons, for who knows the mind of God anyway apart from what he reveals to us. The night before he was crucified in the garden of Gethsemane Mathew 26:39, he says: "Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, but your will be done". This is talking about his death.

That God prefers an act of mercy, shown to the necessitous, to any act of religious worship to which the person might be called at that time. He did give the diciples and the future church the command to eat the bread (his body) and wine (his blood) in remeberance of him and to give thanks for what he did for us at the last supper. This is a way we worship Jesus. I cannot recall him saying not to worship him; he definitely said to worship God. He also said the only way to the father was through him.

@PeacefulOnly When he says he doesn't change he means his mind, his holiness and righteosness. Just because the Son of God became a man, doesn't actually mean he is just a man. It means he lived in a man's body. I'm no expert scholar on the bible, but it talks about his coming over 300 times along with his purpose in the old testement prophets. Read Isaiah, and look for the chapters on the servants obedience. Explan the OUR image and OUR likeness text when God is creating everything in Genesis.

It speaks about it in Ezekial 29:12-19, refering to Satan as the King of Tyre. @PeacefulOnly What it meant was the sacrifice of bulls, goats and lambs was never enough to take away the sin of man completely. Adam sined, this brought sin into the world. So from Adam onwards man was born with the tendancy to sin. The reason God the father sent his son was because he was sinless, and his hideous death satisfied God that whoever believed in the name of his son should be forgiven. Doing this also showed God's love for the world, that he would put his son throuigh such a death.

@Peaceful Never does Jesus say that he should be regarded as equal or worshipped as God. In fact he says, there is no one Good but my father in heaven when someone tries to complement him. Also, he says i can do nothing accept that what my father in heaven permits. We believe the same. Do we not? I do not worship Jesus as the Father, Creator, allmighty God. However, God, the almighty, puts Jesus at his right hand side.

God is Holy. Sin cannnot be in his presence. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation, we are still with sin no matter how hard we try. Perhaps God is his unfailing love and mercy gives us a way out. Perhaps that is how great, meek and magnificent God is. That he would do what he did in Jesus. Give all that believe, Forgivness. Now, if this is true, how much do we owe God. Not out of duty, or fear. We give our lives to God and deny all the evil of the world because of love for the father.

@PeacefulOnly What he means by that is there is no saviour but God - Jesus, the Son of God is part of that God. Also, to your 2nd point, God is saying he would rather his people Israel be righteous and follow his laws wholeheartedly, rather that to keep atoning for their sins by animal sacrifice. They sacrificed animals because it was commaned through Moses to do so when the Isrealitles sinned; nothing to do with the currencey. Check Isaiah 53 onwards: "He was pierced four our trangressions".

Jesus is NOT the only son of God as God has sons by the tons in the Bible.(Gen 6:2, 4; Exodus 4:22 ; Jeremiah 31:9;Job 1:6, 2:1,38:7).
And being son of God DOESN’T make Jesus part of the Godhead but merely as God’s righteous servant (Abdullah in Arabic)as attested in Mark 15:39 c.f. Luke 23:47 as well as Acts 3:13 , 26; 4:27 , 30.

@reincarnations1 In the above verses,we first see a clear promise from GOD Almighty that He will make a "great nation"from Ishmael's descendents(Gen17:20).We then see the definition of "great nation" as being a nation that directly receives a Law from GOD Almighty.(Deuteronomy 4:7-8)

The Law of the Muslims is in the Noble Quran.
