Hey check out our band D-Day who are a new Irish rock band with an original new vibe into classic rock! If you like us please subscribe to keep updated on our original songs!! thanks D-Day
On January 4, has been 26 years since you went away, but you will always be among us Phil. The Thin Lizzy is still one of my favorites. This fantastic music is never lost.
We're an independent label trying to make it in this game and the best way to do that is by being more known on youtube. One of the ways we stand out is we help unsigned artists get more fans by uploading their songs for a new fan base
You can change our future with one simple click.
Please thumbs up so other people can see this and check out our channel and comment with feedback if you like, also if you think we could improve.
If you like check the other artists we have over 90 vids up!
Tony Visconti produced the Bad Reputation (1977) and Black Rose (1979) Thin Lizzy studio albums, plus their live 1978 record Live & Dangerous. Their best sounding records for sure. Visconti basically created the T-Rex sound in the early 70s and then produced some of Bowie's mid 70's records. He features in the excellent BBC Thin Lizzy documentary on YT.
@IamAwesomelyRadical Wow thanx for the info. Did you no all this off the top of your head?? U should be on T.M.S. with Eddie Trunk.COOL STUFF my friend THANX!!!
Ha - no worries dude. I recently watched the doco so it probably helped me. If you search for - Bad Reputation Thin lizzy BBC you should find the doco.
I've been a Thin Lizzy fan for 30-odd years but it still amazes me how good this track is. Amazing drums, bass and lead. Total perfection in metal, and a hundred times better than any band since. Get the album!
Went to see these guys age 14 in 1978............classic line up................Brian Robertson was the main man but Scott came into his own when he left during the making of this album...........

@ziksee Yea, yea! No one is saying BD is the greatest! Ok, we all love Peart and Bonzo, but I am saying the drumming on this song and many others of theirs is pure R'n R and some of it's best! Go ahead -I dare you to write what the best Bonzo/Zep song is! And please dont write "Moby Dick!"
@1jackiea hahah what i criticized about?i basically said they were gods. i know i misspelled,i was to lazy to go back and rewrite, but i probably love them more than u dude,so-down boy.

totally bad ass song this one play it full blast it's the only way to listen to it Thin Lizzy rule and so does Philip Lynott R.I.P and R.I.P to Gary Moore you both did well and should be proud godbless your souls.

The so-called "british invasion", all the prog bands, the "second british invasion", as well as the heavily estrogen infused rock put out these days all serve as example
Not sure why you have to make shit up to fit your world view. But ok. I'd rather stick to facts
@pinfolder so i'm from OZ ?what are you trying to say ?look in the US biilboard chart in that era it was eagles, fleetwood mac, billy joel the boss, van halem , kiss, lionel ritchie ,supertramp e.l.o.frampton go on and on SO many U .K. says it was really hard to crack the U.S. market. as for OZ bands 1 INXS whoopi!!.

As I said, they were underrated in the States. Perhaps in the UK and Ireland they're more appreciated, the way they should be, but not here.
@dudestr5552 yeh mainly cause you listen to yanky bands at that era Fleetwood Mac E.L.O. Doobies Bros ,Eagles ,Peter Frampton, etc ,should of expand your horizon.
@1jackiea ELO, Fleetwood Mac and Peter Frampton were all British, and not "yanky bands." Do some research. You should also learn to spell - the word is YANKEE.
Also, I wasn't born until after Thin Lizzy had folded and crappy music began to spread like an epidemic, so I have to go back and find all this stuff. So you'll forgive me if I'm only just now finding out about them.
Just revisiting this classic Rock song because I was thinking of the time in the 1970's I helped a friend move and he gave me some Thin Lizzy albums for my help that ended up being more valuable then money. :-):
Bad Reputation - Thin Lizzy [Dublin, Ireland] - 1977 - "One of their BEST. Lynott at his nastiest. I Do have a video at my site on this HOT song." - Dedication - The Very Best Of (Mercury)-1991.
NOTE: I'm giving this CD a rating of 3.4 stars (#stars/#tracks).

We have a cool three piece version of this song with a female vocalist up on our page, look for "Deep Blue dJinn, Night of the Wolf Moon"

It's too bad that the radio stations don't play this classic and others. What a shame!

1/2 are 4 star and above.
