Why are fast paced FPS games not played anymore by the new generation of gamers? They're all playing faggot games like HALO and COD which require about 1/10th the amount of skill it takes to play Quake.

@imGenji They can barely make nice (graphics) games because they have to make it to the console, the computer can of course be upgraded, but all the game companies have to adapt for console graphics. And they will do the games for the console and the only ports it over to the PC so some games that will actually require very little demand for very much that they have done a really bad console port, such as Battlefield 2, Quake, CS 1.6 really fast paced FPS. And console have aiming assist BULLSHIT

@imGenji Because people don't like stuff that makes them feel inadequate and bad at what they're doing. The same reason they explain stuff on TV so much, so people don't feel stupid, otherwise they won't like it. And Quake isn't necessarily an easy game to get good at whereas in CoD and the like all you have to do is hide.

fatality isnt exactly on par with the best players today.

If you take fatality at his finest, he isnt among the 10 best players in the world.

he was very good at his time, but things have progressed since.

Just like how Heaton are the most well-known CS player, but even if he was dominant in HIS era, the people now played for 4 years more than he did, and are better than he was - although not as dominant.
