  • you said you used pva and wood filler for the coating on the outside of the boat, but i thought pva was soluble in water

  • @CakesnakeFilms

Some pva's are some are water resistant. It is not that important as thr bot will have a finish which would waterproof it.

  • @TeenWoodworker ok, thanks :)

  • heyy i was just wondering what the dimentions were for this boat ive been thinking of building one

  • Hi, great videos, I started making things in the garage like yourself, When I left school I did a city and guilds in cabinet making, now I'm a cabinet maker, and have have made furniture for people all over the world.

Are you self taught, learnt from tv and the internet? Are they your own tools or a family members, and do you do your own video editing?

    Keep up the fantastic work.

  • @rknott2006

Hi congratualtions on your woodworking success.

I am mostly self taught although i did take part in one on one lesson in woodturning a little while back. Most of the tools are mine which i have acumulated over the last 4 years.

I do all the video editing myself and all the other work on the channel.

    Thanks, Alex.

  • Very cool project! I used to have an rc helicopter but I crashed it a lot.

    Carl,

  • Do you paint that to make it water proof?

  • @TheFlight17

I will be spraying paint onto the hull and then applying lacquer which will prevent any water penetration. Currently it will float and is water tight but the lacquer will stop any water which could rot or impare the structure.

  • Nice,

I was starting to wonder what happened to the rc boat, it has been such a long time since part 1.

    Keep up the good work
