Hey awsome video, looks great, must be even better now. Even if this video is old.. you look like a warrior type character, do you stick to warrior skills or do warriors also put in some magic skills? I am playing trial and I have seen almost everyone getting magic skills, I am not a spell caster and like to stick to melee, any suggestions? Thanks.

@Sinkatze In Darkfall you level up the skills that you use for example; if you killede goblins with a sword, you level up the "sword skill". You don't have to stick with anything, you simply level up the skills you feel are nessescairy.

If you have a castle (real life) and then enemies attack and take over and force you out... it will be theirs, when they leave its still theirs untill someone comes and takes it over and can defend it....

There is no "XYZ Owns this object"

I guess the main competition for this game is mortal, and I want to promote Mortal cause I think it looks and will be better. Custom housing and castles are built free hand. Meaning anywere and as big as you want! Not preplaned like in DFO. Mortal is pvp based large scale, anti carebare ownage. The PvE is also better and more unique with the no respawn epic battles, for once in a lifetime opps. Mortals pvp basics are cooler and more skillbased and looks prettier. But its not out yet so...

We already know for a fact that Darkfall is one hell of a game.

However, we know nothing of Mortal. In all actuality, I prefer Darkfall.

Reason: I enjoy clans being able to construct their own cities and run the politiics of Agon.

From what I have seen, Mortal is based on smaller PvP battles, while also focusing on some interesting PvE content.

Darkfall is essentially PvP based.

That is how Darkfall works.

There are no set "classes", it's just whatever you feel like.

The reason that there aren't very many Wizard/Mage classes is because delving into the Magic skill and raising it costs quite a bit of money. Money that many players do not have.

So many players just deck out in salvaged armor and fight it out.

Its currently a world server. That means it has US and EU along with people from all over the world playing on it. That means there is stuff going on just about 24/7
