I sometimes make similar jokes looking back at my older videos, I find errors, flaws, and hypocrisy as well and even find it laughable. I try my best not to develop a super inflated ego where i think I am always right and everybody is wrong because I have a large amount of subscribers, everybody makes mistakes, I at least admit them usually, because i do not want youtube popularity to turn me into a insecure asshole who thinks he is always right and better then everybody else.

Don't even get me started on facebook, facebook at first was meant for only college students, now everyone one can use it, kids, grandparents, etc... That's a good idea man, I am all for that idea, 10 minutes is just way to short for certain types of videos, some of my videos easily go over 10 minutes, and it gets annoying having to make multiple parts and have to do 3 separate videos in windows movie maker.

Veoh is blocked in my region. also for Dailymotion, after it came back after being blocked here, the family filter is unavailable here and I know for a fact is because they've (the regional government) has done something when they blocked it here.

Now viacom is trying to sue youtube in September 2009, that's one reason youtube is going downfall, sooner or later youtube could end if copyrights get mad. Viacom decided for copyrights to rule youtube. well i will admit sometimes some of the semper gamers leave me mature comments sometimes, but I am seriously getting tired of them mentioning semper games, so my rule will be they can comment pretty much as long as the comment does not contain semper games in it or anything related.

I think the time limit is because YT is afraid that users will upload entire movies. And that's retraded. And yes, x-parts video are pointless, not only the views suffer, but also comments. Users watch one part comment, but won't comment on the second one, because it's teh same thing. So you have 6 comments for the 1st part and 1 comment for the 2nd.
exactly, although this time my rant was somewhat consistent I got 300+ on this part, 200+ on parts 2 and 3, 32 comments on this part, and 20+ on parts 2 and 3, so about 100 people gave up after part 1, just supports my point :P
yeah I finally realized it, but its still annoying how you have to past the link of your video rather then getting the option of getting to choose it from a list -_-
I agree with the majority of your points, however I disagree about the time limit thing. For me personally, I love the separated parts. Sometimes long videos are discouraging. The separated parts allows me to view them at my own pace. If I only have time for 10 minutes, and the video is 30 minutes long, I wont start watching it. If it's 3 10 minute parts, and the first video is interesting enough, I'll save the links and watch them when I have time.
good point, well what I said was most people usually give up if you make multipart videos in one day, but if it is done day by day and split up somewhat and not done all in the same day that seems to work too.
but yeah I can see your point somewhat how it is easier to work with videos that are as short as 10 minutes.
And yeah your right sometimes when people see long videos that pushes them away as well, but with unlimited time it gives the person of long videos and multipart videos ;)

i heard a trick to uploading longer vids was a big gap of "intermission" time in between 10 min segments will solve it but i haven't tested it yet. i do agree with you on the changes and the suspension thing is harsh....I also don't like the screen size..good rant

well i will admit sometimes some of the semper gamers leave me mature comments sometimes, but I am seriously getting tired of them mentioning semper games, so my rule will be they can comment pretty much as long as the comment does not contain semper games in it or anything related.

It's true gamers and anime` fans are being oppressed on YouTube, but it's also happening in the offline world (aka real life). Everyday the Gamesvolution is making ground on ending discrimination against gamers. Right now is the best time to be a gamer!

I think the time limit is because YT is afraid that users will upload entire movies. And that's retraded. And yes, x-parts video are pointless, not only the views suffer, but also comments. Users watch one part comment, but won't comment on the second one, because it's teh same thing. So you have 6 comments for the 1st part and 1 comment for the 2nd.

exactly, although this time my rant was somewhat consistent I got 300+ on this part, 200+ on parts 2 and 3, 32 comments on this part, and 20+ on parts 2 and 3, so about 100 people gave up after part 1, just supports my point :P

I agree with the majority of your points, however I disagree about the time limit thing. For me personally, I love the separated parts. Sometimes long videos are discouraging. The separated parts allows me to view them at my own pace. If I only have time for 10 minutes, and the video is 30 minutes long, I wont start watching it. If it's 3 10 minute parts, and the first video is interesting enough, I'll save the links and watch them when I have time.

good point, well what I said was most people usually give up if you make multipart videos in one day, but if it is done day by day and split up somewhat and not done all in the same day that seems to work too.
but yeah I can see your point somewhat how it is easier to work with videos that are as short as 10 minutes.
And yeah your right sometimes when people see long videos that pushes them away as well, but with unlimited time it gives the person of long videos and multipart videos ;)

Im not really leaving per say, I'm just pulling an AVGN on my fans and moving my review over to a more adiquite site. And really, I have no regrets, for my videos get removed constantly for no reason what so ever, and with GameVee, I can have reviews as long as I want them to be.

ah spunkeez glad to see you took the time to check out my rant, I saw your's and i agreed with most your points as well, I have grown attached to youtube, I have gotten lucky i guess, never got a video removed, but if I get suspended I probably will move somewhere else like gamevee or rever, its just I worked hard to get where I am, havbe 200+ videos that I really don't want to have to reupload, and all my friends are here, but the new rules are bullshit and some of the option changes -_-

I actually gained some back, but I zoomed out more then I do in most videos, thats prob why I look thinner, but I did gain some muscle as well, holidays are never a good time to lose weight lol.

i heard a trick to uploading longer vids was a big gap of "intermission" time in between 10 min segments will solve it but i haven't tested it yet. i do agree with you on the changes and the suspension thing is harsh....I also don't like the screen size..good rant
