  • are you professional? good hand.

  • Thank you for watching.

    I am not professional.

  • thanks

  • Welcome.

  • That is Beautifull.

  • Thank you.

  • This model is by Pei Shiu. Pei Shiu was a friend of Liu Gong-Chuan. His style was in between those of Liu Gong-Chuan and Oh-Yang Sheun. Many later calligraphers including several emperors of the Ching Dynasty and Pu Hsin-Yu ( 溥心畬 ) started learning calligraphy with his model.

  • Perhaps, Pei Shiu's model was the only one in the Tang Dynasty that combined all the elegant features of Kai Shu from the Sui Dynasty, Oh-Yang Sheun, Liu Gong-Chuan, and so on. By learning his model, one can more easily proceed and relate to many other styles, such as those of Liu Gong-Chuan, Oh-Yang Sheun, Wei Bei, and even Yen Jen-Ching. Pu Hsin-Yu also personally recommended Pei's model for beginners.

  • Totally beautiful.

That black paged book with the white characters. Can you tell me a little about this please.I have access to some in London, few, rare, but some. They are like this.

Also, I have just published another video of an artists beautiful work. But I do not know the name or anything about the collection.

In the gallery I have all the massive pictures for download and the character pages AND title page.

Would you be so kind and let me ow if they are readable?

    Thankyou.

  • How do you get such a calm hand? Is there some trick to it? I mean, your hand is in the air, while writing

    5 shuriken

  • If we are cutting a steak with a knife or a pencil, our hands will usually not be shaking. Then when writing with a soft brush like this... why shaking? It's the mind and our eyes that make us sort of nervous. And if we can do very small and continuous movements (also avoid unnecessary movements), our hands will be steady and calm while writing. It's both mental and physical.

  • It's also the distance and position you are holding the bamboo handle.

  • Yes, that distance (the height of the writing hand) depends on many factors such as the calligraphy's size, style, and etc.
