The reason for this area was for a funeral. GM's gathered here to pay their respects to a Blizzard Employee who died of a heart attack. The bones inside the house are their to represent him. Many believe Newman's Landing to be a place where "new" toons are first spawned, however Newman could possibly be the surname of the perished employee.
