My 2 cents. A lot of angst at why this bowing down and showing respect is because a lot of us have sanskaars (generations of accumulated thoughts/emotions/fears) passed/acquired over a period of time, resulting from the abuse of faith to persecute individuals in the garb of following the will of God. Anything happening now which reminds us of those days doesn't go down very well. On top of that, contemporary belief is that we are smarter than those who lived before us.

@1steurowolf It is because she has not reached ultimate perfection yet. There is still some residue karma on her. A perfect example of a being who is spiritually greater than her would be Mahavatar Babji. He is DEATHLESS. Go read Autobiography of a Yogi if you want to know more. There is also a state beyond ultimate perfection and spiritual evolution is endless.

cesar, she is the embodiment of the divine mother. she doesn't want people to kneel and worship at her feet...she's the one complying with what the people want, which is to show her respect and shower her with affection. she doesn't require it of them at all. allowing them to love her as the Mother energy is what she does for them, and what they want from her. it allows them to experience the exchange of Love, the acceptance and compassion of the Mother.

A basic teaching in Vedanta is to avoid becoming in jalpa. Jalpa is a discussion where each party's real purpose is to convince the

other that his view is the correct one, vs discussion which serves to

increase one another's understanding. As here,

one can begin w/ one intent;it's easy to fall into jalpa.

Mr. Casar does not understand your paradigm & likely is uninterested in doing so. Likewise, you do not share his. Both of you have a right to your views and are living perfectly.

If Maa does not want somebody to know her, what is their power to know her ? :)

Some children might get angry with mother, and act arrogant, and stomp their feet and throw tantrums, but mother will always be merciful.

:) This child (Casar1973) is just angry...but what he is not realizing is even in his anger and vain, he is still remembering Maa, that is enough. :)
