The biggest reason as to why the drums sound weird in the beginning is because he's not exactly ghost noting the very 1st two snare hits before the 1st snare accent which makes it sound goofy but its not incorrect just a different variation.

ts the SOUND people that your confusing with the performance yep the quality is def shit but I don't see micas on the kit WHO knows if that P/A is even on and this was probe recorded with some shitty cell phone camera. unless this is a talent show who would bring a camcorder!!! when a real live band sucks its usually time to fire your sound guy!
