The reason you want to play on ps3 is because Evo matches will be on ps3. Also ps3 ver of 3rd strike gets the update sooner than 360. The lag will still be based on the players internet speed, so don't blame psn for that.

gootecks dissed PSN. I've lost my support for this game and any support I had for any SF on PSN. I'm feeling even more disenchanted about 3S than before now. I have it 3S anyway. I don't need to buy it again! PSN probably stinks... but it has Gundam and that is ALL that matters. Infinitely better than anything SF will ever be.
Gootecks, u should write a guide for third strike like you did for sf4. That guide helped me alot when i was starting out and it even helped good players step their game up. I think making a guide for this game would do the same
@TheElephant2009 There were early reports that the PS3 version of 3S:OE had more input delay, but those reports have been debunked from further tests that shows that both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game have the same inherent input delay of 4 frames. Gootecks apparently hasn't gotten the memo.
Why is there only input lag in Capcom games? Arc System Works and SNK have shown that they can make perfect PS3 ports without input lag and they have a much smaller budget to work with. Step your game up Capcom.
@VocalFXX well MVC3 and Third Strike have no input lag on ps3 as tested by the fine tech ppl at the Shoryuken forums. Only SF4 series has 1ms input lag. The FG community just likes to start rumors lol. @GuIVslingerGaming XBL just has more features, I see the same green and red bars on xbl that I see on psn and it's just because you pay for xbl doesn't mean there's gonna be less lag.

Gootecks, while I understand how you could be overshadowed by Mike Ross' more extroverted nature and playfulness, it's really good to see you sitting there, focused and playing seriously.
Calls for Mike to play this and standard one-liners aside, it's nice to see you set apart from your pair like this and highlights the down to earth, concentrated playing you've just proven you're capable of.

@LaSwagga You obviously don't know fuck all if you think Dyne is a scrub. He's a decent player. Yeah he can be random but that's part of how he plays. He streaks PJs and GGPO with tons of characters, I doubt anyone here would come close to beating him.

@LaSwagga Yeah, that may or may not be because Gootecks is a well-respected big tournament-going player, and meets people who are the same. Comparing Dyne to Gootecks' local competition is unfair.
@TheNotoriousTOM Playing randomly is a wonderful thing in 3rd Strike. Makes you harder to parry. Randomness may as well be a compliment to a 3rd Strike player.

@ABoffman Yeah but he plays for hours in lobbies, he get bored and tries random stuff, risks mean nothing in a lobby. I've never seen any tourney footage of him (if he plays in them) but I doubt he would pull that shit offline. Also the way Gootecks was talking they probably play a lot anyway and wasn't that serious.
