I know the feeling. I once broke my nose during my cross country course and had to continue the rest of it not being able to breath out of it. Half of the pictures of me my mouth was open and when I finished everyone thought I was out of breath and out of shape. There was blood everywhere. Sometimes you have to just suck it up. If this happened to her during a show if she stopped and pulled out just because of that, it would be a waste of a show fee. She's not a bad rider though. Good recovery.
You shouldn't be allowed to wear spurs at all. Even highly experienced riders shouldn't wear them. You only care about yourself, you spurred the horse and yanked the reins and you were crying about a hurt chin. Imagine how the horse felt...
She could have reacted much worse - stay on the horse crying help me help me, shake, sob, lay on the ground, cry on the man's shoulder, refuse to go near the horse, faint at the blood on her breeches, etc. Her reaction was sensible. I would have been shaking and crying, I would not have been able to get back up so quick with so little help. I hate my reaction to accidents, I hate having anyone see me like that it's humiliating. Maybe it the surprise/unexpectedness of it. I say good job.
Individuals have different pain threshholds and different amounts of experience with pain. Both effect how a person will react in a situation. I think it is ignorant for people to say how they had worse happen and didn't react much to it, so she shouldn't have either. She did get back on. It was smart of her to assess her body before getting back up.

it was nobody's falt either . both tetley was scared and slipped and Indi had no control of an animal slipping . she only used leg because she had to give him support .
im not a horse rider im more of a car and bike guy myself but i rode my mums horse about a year ago and i was getting really confident and then she got spooked and bucked and threw me off i was winded and that hurt lol it takes balls to ride a horse

I cringed watching that slow mo... I one time was riding this ex-steeplechaser and I was taking him to a tiny crossrail, but I didn't prepare myself enough and he took it quite large and I smacked his poll like she did and I got knocked out. It was great. I was still half blacked out and I was yelling for the other person to get off the horse. He hadn't done nothing wrong, just took it a bit long and I wasn't prepared. lol.
actualy that how i LIKE my parents to react, when i fall i dont want them going "OMG ARE YOU OK OMG UR BLEEDING ARE YOU OK!?!?!" i want them to be calm, ask what hurts, and tell me to get my butt back on the horse, no matter how bad it hurts! but thats just me, :/

it was nobody's falt either . both tetley was scared and slipped and Indi had no control of an animal slipping . she only used leg because she had to give him support .

im not a horse rider im more of a car and bike guy myself but i rode my mums horse about a year ago and i was getting really confident and then she got spooked and bucked and threw me off i was winded and that hurt lol it takes balls to ride a horse

I cringed watching that slow mo... I one time was riding this ex-steeplechaser and I was taking him to a tiny crossrail, but I didn't prepare myself enough and he took it quite large and I smacked his poll like she did and I got knocked out. It was great. I was still half blacked out and I was yelling for the other person to get off the horse. He hadn't done nothing wrong, just took it a bit long and I wasn't prepared. lol.

actualy that how i LIKE my parents to react, when i fall i dont want them going "OMG ARE YOU OK OMG UR BLEEDING ARE YOU OK!?!?!" i want them to be calm, ask what hurts, and tell me to get my butt back on the horse, no matter how bad it hurts! but thats just me, :/
