@ZupaSC its on twice a year i believe. Just Google "Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot" it is open to the public and you can rent firearms. I bet they would be delighted to have an enthusiastic foreigner checking things out. One thing about the gun culture here is that they work hard to dispel the stereotypes. It tends to be really welcoming and friendly to people who take a casual interest or are, pardon the term, foreign.
