Seriously the comment below is retarded. But, do you know what's wrong? It's the crappy ranking system that the 'socialized' school boards put in place. What am I talking about? Just look at tbverrall's comment.

I had to do my Cambridge Pre-U (A-level alternative), in 5 subjects, before being accepted into Cambridge... yes, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, England. This with my OSSD avg being 73% (Top 5) and my science avg being just 65%. Btw, I am doing medicine ;-)

Wealth plays a serious factor. I would know I live in West Vancouver and my school was no 9 last year

Education has nothing to do with teachers

You can't blame a teacher for failing a student for not doing well

Furthermore, its not fair to the kids, don't you think that seeing that their school is at the bottom of the heap does something to their morale?
