if you honestly disagree with me in this look at some past histort...seatle in 2001 lost when the playoffs came cubs in 2003 to the marlins who by the by where not at all up there in stats and were the wild card team and then won the world series....the 87 dodgers were also a team like that....basically it comes down to how hard you play in the playoff race and the phillies went 17-8 the which is better then 13-12 and your offense in those loses was stagnant
