Knife Center has these knives on special for $127 as of 12/15/09. I just ordered one. My dealer has them for $299. Would make a wicked self defense knife especially in a reverse grip. It would be devastating.
Not useless at all. The blade posseses adequate belly while having effectively two points as well as a recurve - not to mention a very pokey tip. I imagine it would make a quite deadly self-defense knife and might be useful for daily chores as well.
I remember seeing this knife in the movie Driven to Kill with Steven Seagal!
