You can build pretty much what you want so long as it satisfies a standard set of requirements, have it inspected, and go throw it around your favourite roundabout. I guess its partly why Britain has a rich history of quirky, small volume vehicle manufacturers.

What kind of standards do I have to follow and what insurance company do I have to go to etc. to be able to legally drive it across the town. @kolazlidla If you're in the states you'd have to put a shit ton of money to street legalize it. They'd take one look at that buggy and decline you. Youd need 2 or more seats, signals, and depending on what state you're in if you are in the states it would have to be able to get smogged. Plus a whole shit ton of legal shit to deal with. Really isnt worth it.

@TheNeckasaurus thats what I've already found out, to legalise the thing you need to spend 450 pounds for a test and they will certinally fail you and than you have to make the changes and attempt the test again and pay the fee once more as well.
