Austerity measures have already been implemented in Europe to negate the massive debts and overall poor economic performance. Their only hope is renewed Economic prowess from the rest of the West particularly America.

Recent Economic reports indicates America is increasingly likely to go into a double dip recession, and taking the world a long with it.

A second recession will create a great depression in the West and likely the world, in other words were going to be fucked HARD.

@FXThug In order to have a double dip you first have to begin a recovery. The current recovery is a fraud; made possible by legalizing accounting fraud(the suspension of mark to market), letting the frauds retain their position at the insolvent institution instead of prosecuting them.

The recovery is a phenomenon that is happening on paper only. It is not happening in the real economy and it is not happening at the still insolvent banks.

The Federal gov't should play no role in education whatsoever, but Obama is proposing another "stimulus" to bail out the states that have large deficits. This is a bailout to the teacher's unions.
