I have admired him since hearing him on the Goodall Ring. I had the good fortune to study with Alberto Remedios who also unfortunately had a stroke. Please pass on my regards to one of the Greats. Where does he teach?
He currently lives in Victor, Idaho and teaches as adjunct faculty along with his wife at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. Unfortunatly no one here knows who he is or his storied career. I can tell you that every lesson is a work out and an honor.
Norman Bailey is my voice teacher. The man is a genious. He is a master at both the art of performance and teaching. He is retired and had a stroke a few years back, but his vocal range and ability blows me away in lessons. You should hear his Woton stuff--mind blowing.
You're lucky to have such a great singer as a teacher - I've been a huge fan of Norman Bailey since the Sadler's Wells "Ring" came out on LP (which dates me a bit!). Having lived in London through the 1980s, I was lucky enough to see him in many productions at the Coliseum - including one of my most treasured theatrical memories, with his wonderful portrayal of Hans Sachs. Please pass on my regards, too.

Awe inspiring. He is a singer who I am familiar with but nothing can prepare you for such solid singing. What a lesson to a young baritone.
