This DVD actually isn't filmed all that great.Too much of the footage is shot long distance. I love Schenker but this doesn't do him any favours.

I thought the late 90's were his dark phase, I've seen some videos that were definitely not his best. This however is not one of those. This may be one of the best things I've ever seen from him. Awesome.

I could have downloaded it with Realplayer but since i have a knew laptop i won't have realPlayer installed in my new laptop, because it caused to many problems would you believe !

Yeah, I met the guy who filmed the Michael Schenker Story Live DVD. Probably on a reduced budget, but cool that he could be a part of this. Met him in Surrey, BC. Eddie Prescar is his name. He gave me his number and I called him some time later, but he had no answering machine and then I lost his number. He was a friend of the drummer Gaalas, as well. Would have been cool to stay in touch with him.

One MS's greatest solos still to date,had the boot release of this show long before the official release, never understood why the camera work was so poor considering it was filmed in Japan. I was excited when I heard about offical release thinking we'd finally get the front row/stage camera takes but the official release was the same long distance one camera shot as the boot. What a shame for such a killer set list & performance, maybe someday the other camera takes will surface.

Yeah I happened to notice there was a close shot camera going at the same time,they did the same thing on MSG 2000 live Japan,only 1 camera,just too bad!

Hopefully the same will happen with the MSG 1990 MTV Spring Break Performance. Schenker showcased some of his best work and there's only a camcorder bootleg in circulation, despite multiple TV cameras at the stage.

Yeah,this DVD came out a sometime ago & the singer which is unknown to me only sang for this tour and never had recorded anything with Schenker so I'm sure he had to learn or read the lyrics!

Thats what I been thinking about for the past year. Check out Slash version of Hendrix hey Joe and schenkers version. Slash doesnt come close to Schenkers version infact i thought Schenker was the only one to come close or even better than original.
