This has finally given me the exact enthusiasm that there is life beyond our galaxy... there are billions of galaxies with the amount of planets and stars out there the chance of other life see
ms minimal but because of the high number of planets and stars it does make it very possible that if at all there is at least one other planet like ours
@LRMANIA you mean the big bang theory? Theree's no explanation that could tell us from where things started, but it wasn't an explosion, from the dark relms of the universe a giant mass of matter expanded at suprheat temperature until it expanded long enough to cool itself
1:08 I've heard that sound effect before I think it was in Doctor Who just don't ask me which episode because I can't remember for all I know it could also have been either Star Trek or Star Wars. All I really know is that have heard that Sound Effect before
so, once the galaxy has "calmed down", what does the black hole at the centre do? does it stop sucking stuff? what does the black hole at the centre of the milky way do?
@HakuCell Black holes never stops "sucking". It atm just sits there holding the galaxy together, as without its massive gravity, all stars and everything in the galaxy would probably just fly outwards. Just as mercury and earth aren't falling into the sun, yet early proto plantes might have, so too do stars not fall into the black hole anymore, while early stars might have, along with all the material (gas) that makes them up.
Basically, the Black Hole is done hoovering its corner of the galaxy
where there is design there is a designer , where there is intelligent mind boggling design there is God. And the mysteries of his powers, ways and abiliities will we ever fully understand?
@TheHulk262626 you can't understand something that doesn't exist. You say complex things need design, so what created god? it goes on into infinity making no sense. If there was a god that created the universe, what created him? and then what created the creator? If you say he created himself, then that means he popped up out of nowhere. So that means the universe could also create itself.
@wo0obly Don't feed the troll, it is evident that he has a very primitive way of thinking, just like the people in ancient civilizations who thought earthquakes, thunder etc were caused by "gods" because they didn't understand said phenomena.
@wo0obly Now, that's a good question to ask: If this miracle called "The Universe" was created by a CREATOR and is guarded from falling apart, WHO created the creator? Great question and i have seen a lot of people answering it in different ways. Some try to do it philosophically, some using logic. What do you think would look your answer, if you had to make one.
@kingboy909090 i honestly don't have enough comprehension of even this universe let alone anything outside it too come up with anything, i mean i could use "logic" but how can anything be logical outside of what we know as all that exists? Anything is just a random guess, if we know so little about here, and know nothing about there, then no answer is truly accurate. If i HAD too think something up, it would be just follow the lines of the big bang theory.
After watching this I started to wonder. If a supermassive black hole produces the most powerful force in the galaxy. How does a quasar (spelling?) blast out from the center? Wouldnt that make the force of a quasar even more powerful than a supermassive black hole?
Can someone explain to me how the black hole isn't devouring all of the surrounding stars? I don't get it, has it reached it's limit and is solely a gravitational force that holds a cluster of stars together?
@knigthfigth the pulling force that gravity exerts drops off very quickly as you move away. so since surrounding stars are far from the pulling force of a black hole, they don't get sucked in. you have to be close to a black hole to feel its gravitational effects.
i thought nothing could escape black hole. not even light. then what is it im seeing right now? the light the shoot out of black hole. isnt that escaping black hole?
Is it really 10 earths per minute?? I thought it would be like 10 suns a minute.. i mean 10 earths doesn't seem like alot of mass compared to the black hole or the size of the entire galaxy. I guess over millions of years it would be alot.
the universe is mind blowing

@Trisscarro Well technically its a brown hole but you get the idea.

@avmf8 well don't these brown holes eject more mass then they suck in.

how about create giant telescope with the size of planet just like in starwars emperor darth vader planet
hadi086 2 months ago
so a giant telescope is needed to take a picture up close of a black hole?
better attach a giant planet destroying laser to it too....
just in case...

@Morratiz Cause a black hole get's rid of any postive charge. So all protons are shot out, while it eat's neutrons and electrons.

The stars are moving fast enough around the black hole to not get sucked in, like how the moon orbits the Earth.
