  • wow... way to fail at reviewing mappy

  • Wow! Pac-Man Vs. on DS!

  • hahahha you don't know how to play mappy! haha. its a very cute game, and it gets realllyyy hard after some time

  • There are actually 8 games, Super Xevious is an unlockable.

  • I dont like Mappy

  • Dont shoot where they are .. Shoot where they are going to be.. duh

  • WHY DID THEY PUT DIGDUG 2 ON THE GAME!!! DIGDUG 1 IS WAY BETTER!

  • @supernickyX45 emulation problems

  • that so cool :D

  • he talks like a robot

  • @destraction100 how does he sound like a robot

  • You suck at all games XD

  • i got it hurray

  • ur review is very good good points my gramma ordered the game for me so its coming in 4 days or 3

  • PSP version has 21 games.

  • Ive played all of those games except Xevious, and Mappy. Never played dig dug 2, but it looks as if number one is better. I have played number one. And its really fun. Also,im only 13 XD

  • we can not get this game to play can you tell us why this is?

  • dig dug II is my favorite i got the highest

    score 47700 lv 10

  • @flyleaf040 MINE IS 108750 LEVEL 17

  • This is an 8-bit games, and there is 9 games you turd. you just downed some of the best games ever made. and you suck at the games on this. I hate you, its worth it. buy it.

  • is it 8 bit or 4 bit i dont know XD

  • you have no real appreciation for classic games these are the gems of the past they are worth the money

  • I agree with you drunksnyper they could of put all namco arcade games on there lol.

  • it's 5.00 in target =)

  • in YOUR target its 20 in mine

  • On mappy you open the doors with the A button while you dodge the cats and mappy is a police mouse and I have namco muesum ds too.

  • if only the "museum" part were in it. my favorite part of the earlier ones were wandering around and getting some useless trivia and looking at promotional hats.

  • im twelve and ive played galaga

  • 101 in 1 explosive megamix has 101 games cmon people you could of just put about all the namco arcade games on there!

  • Comment removed

  • ha ha lol i have the game

  • This is awesome since they included Dig Dug 2, that game needs more love. The enemies get much much much faster in higher up stages and it gets harder to sink enemies so you have no choice to kill the enemies.

  • wait no dig dug 1? weird :P

  • Dig Dug 2 needs more love anyway :D

  • NOPE ORIGINAL IS BETTAAAAHR! its pretty weird im 12 and i dont kow anyone who has love for ld games like me.. or 2d games... oh wait i played emulators as a child so thats why i love them i guess xD

  • What they could've at least done was make Super Xevious and Dig Dug 2 accessible in a different way, then fill the last 2 spaces with Dragon Spirit and Galaga 88.

  • i would of got this game if it had pole position

  • they put very limited because they put some bonuses too, such as manuals/posters for games, STILL POINTLESS! I wanted Dig Dug ONE!

  • all these arcade collection games, i'm surprised it's very limited, the specs say that the ds slot-1 cards can hold up at most 1 GB...

  • i was so happy that they had this but there are only seven games that sucks they should of put like 15 or something

  • There's 8 including pacman vs.

  • Which is completely different from pacman. One person is pacman and can see the entire screen and everyone else is a ghost an can see a portion of the screen and tries to catch him.

  • mappy rules

  • I choose the Rapid Fire feature for Glaxian, Galaga, Xevious, and Dig Dug II.

  • btw mappy is a mouse and hes not stealing hes a cop retriving the items

  • I'm surprised Ms. Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man & Pac-Man Jr. aren't included.

  • I'm suprised Dig Dug 1 isn't in there even though Dig Dug 2 is.

  • Seriously, Namco could have provided so much more than they did.

In fact, they could have provided the original editions followed by enhanced editions.

Seriously, it seems that they are merely cashing in on their past success without adding anything new to warrant the purchase.

  • It should have tried to beat the Konami collection, which was made before this and has 15 games.

  • just played xevious on the ds screen. I won't lie, I'm disappointed. It is much better on the television. Too tiny.

  • I ONLY got this game for:

    Pac-Man,

    Xevious,

    and mostly Pac-Man Vs.

  • Dude, somehow, minus the Brit accent, you still remind me of Stewie G.

  • Gal-uh-ga

    Galaga

  • Drawga? Usually screw ups like that don't even bother me but that one made me chuckle.

  • There's actually 8 one is unlock able.

  • Theres 9, 2 are unlockable.

  • what are the unlockable(s)?

  • Super Xevious and the first version of Dig Dug 2 featuring a completely different set of levels.

  • oh ok thanks, i´d prefer Rally-X but oh well...

  • dig dug 1 is better!!! btw you suck at all games XD specially Mappy

  • @unknowuser10 noob

  • @unknowuser10 suck you! Mappy is good!

  • I have it on GBA galaga kicks butt!

  • funny, i don't give a shit for dig dug, but i love mappy to this day.

  • I have this game, I suggest EV-ER-Y-ONE to buy it, it's wicked! Always wakes you up and entertains you when you're bored.. the old fashioned way! :)

  • hahahaha "If you have a friend."

  • they should just make a Pacman DS like Tetris DS, with advanced versus options and those fancy plasma effects. :P (and Dig Dug, never played it, but it looks awesome.)

  • pacman vs. was like the best thing of that game!

  • i hope they make a remake of this game.....with all of those games plus dozens more..and pacman vs.(original) PLUS pacman vs. ultra!where u can shoot the pelets once you get them =P

  • dig dug FUCKIN RULEZ!!!!!!!!(but the first one rules more)

  • Mappy was a great game, if you give it a chance.

  • you get the version on the gamecube

  • this is ok i like the bonus's

    but gamplay wise it lacks

konami arcade classics is a much better compilation of retro arcade games which ofcourse on that cartidge are by konami, wich unless ur a fanboi people wont mind buying before they try put it down :)

  • yeah....i found mappy on gametap and i was completely confused shitless

  • Mappy is good, but it is confusing. You should just look at the hints part and click how to play. Youll find that its actually very enjoyable.

  • mappy is awesome. but you are not stealing , you are a cop and you are taking stoled things back from cats

    open doors by pressing A

  • @werotus oh thanks im getting that game so thanks for ur help

  • In Xevious if you hit the X button, the ship will crack off three quick shots.

  • srsly?

  • yes and you can adjust the rapid fire rate, which can be set all the way up to 10 shots per second.

  • AWESHOMEE

  • Dude you sound funny (in a good way)! I thought your review was pretty good.

  • its pronounceed *GA-LAX-AN* and *GA-LA-GA* and the second pronounciation of xevios was correct

  • its

    fucking

    ga lax ian

  • each game is only 8 bits, so they could probly put 100's of games, but those cheapskates dont wont to....

  • he's not stealing, he's taking stuff out of the house, they're all stealing.

  • u idiot, to open a door on Mappy, hit A! and yes, he's a mouse.

  • very cool game!!!!! could SOMEONE make a video about pac-man vs.

  • Secret Game - Super Xevious

Go to Xevious, then press Settings (2). Hit "Hardcore Options", and hit Xevious Version. Choose "Super Xevious", and touch "Confirm".You will now be able to choose Super Xevious from the arcade and Score Attack menus.

  • No, most are over a megabit, which is 256k.

  • COOOOOL

  • oh ya

  • i'd say the biggest is probably 50kbs at the most

  • It's like, Ecks-evious or something.

  • Konami arcade is much better, it has Contra!! :)

  • um no... i have to agree with josh all mine well under 1mb... that would be ginormous to have a few gigs of nes/old arcade/various roms just on my pc.. unless it was an arcade pc in that special case... that would be kick ass...

  • do i have to have that said to you ..... gahl-uh-guh

  • I want this game for Pac-Man Vs. Why didn't you show me Pac-Man Vs. :(

  • I must contest this. I have, more or less, every single NES game ever made in ROM form sitting on my computer. Their total size COMBINED is around 73 MBs. Not a single one is over a megabyte.

  • @JoshuaZimmerman as far as I know, biggest commercial game for NES is Kirby and it's 768 kilobytes (6 megabits). Better not confuse yourself with megabytes and megabits :)

With custom mappers "XX-in-1" cartridges have achieved bigger gamepacks but they are all pirated games. These pirated carts can be easily over 1 megabyte.

I have NES rom cart reader and I can say 73 MBs is not all of them :)

  • awsome ur reviews r best

  • gal-a-ga, galaga.

  • LMAO @ you playing Mappy Land. I can't believe you haven't played Mappy before...

  • Hey Josh u kinda sound a little like Weird Al, also good review.

  • u foukin rock

  • I had this for the GBA, but I lost it. I want this bad, I love these classic games. :D

  • in mappy you have to get the objects in order use the button to open doors and stun the enemies

  • i loved these games!

  • Ah, ya came through my man! Very nice.

  • great review even though it isn't much of a review

  • very nice review josh! keep it up :)
