I think the 'intelligencia' (or certainly people who feel their education gives them 'top dog' status on knowledge) enjoy looking down on others for their experiences that cannot be traditionally explained because, after all, if it was real then why didn't 'they' come to me, a clearly superior intellect. Dr Mack was able to shake off that attitude and actually be objective and let the phenomenon speak for itself thru those interviewed. We only have 5 rather minor senses in which to know 'life'.

I heard Mack years ago at the New York Academy of Medicne with a half-dozen experiencers. I didn't know what to think before or after, but I know one thing: I was deeply moved by the stories told that night and came away believing, as Mack does, that something has happened to the experiencers that cannot be explained in the categories available in our worldview. when you attend University, lecturers dont want you to regurgitate books they want you to challenge whats out there, test theories and be cutting edge. I dont know this man but it appears to me he has challenged and enquired about the unenquirable at great risk to his reputation. Personally, hypnosis is such a massive grey area (no pun) and as a science i think even this lecturer knows he is on thin ice but hey lets applaud the guy, he deserved applause not inquisition.

I have seen two ufos as they came right by me.One a golden triangle with lights on each corner with an orb following as if invisibly connected. it was silent and slow and floated by right above me. Any closer and I would have had a heart attack. The other looked like star wars landcruiser in the sky flying by around 100 yards from me and was like semi cloaked with shimmering purple/violet/silver colors and it had no motor sound but racked the air like it had mass and was going fast.

By the way, it happens even in small provincial towns where nothing ever happens and people had not heard of aliens...and yet, these experiences happen but people think that they are having bad dreams!
