I think you can save the game every time you use the pokemon center, that way you can cut it out along with the part of you healing and save the game at the same time

Actually Toxicroak and Crogaunk learn Pison Jab and Sludge bomb. Croagunk learns Poison jab at level 38, Toxicroak at lv. 41 but Crogunk evolves at level 37.

Hey, there is a really good place for you to train Torterra and Vaporeon or pokemon that is good against rock types, go to iron island then give the exp share to one of your pokemon, then go to riley and fight ONLY wild pokemon before fighting any trainers, but run away from the battles that has golbat in it, only fight steelix, onix and graverler and that is Iron Island, you will go there anyway right?
