try and slow your swing down, it sounds like you are blading it, which is very common. also a common misconception is that you get the loft on an upswing, in fact you want to make contact with the ball on the down swing and make your divot (if you make one) after contact.
practicing chipping all summer and cant get pace right but im hitting flag which is annoying it just seems to run an run

3 wood for chipping huh.. but I see it only applying when the ruff has a small or no slope.
