The nose end of a P51 was the last thing that a great many Japanese and Nazi fighter pilots ever saw. The USMC's F4U Corsair and the USN's F6F Hellcat ruled in the Pacific theater, but after the Mustang got into action against the Japanese homeland there was one more superior US fighter the Zero pilots had to contend with. Most of them gave their all for the Emperor, with lots of help from those 3 fighters and the US pilots who flew them. Now, thank God, Japan is one of our best friends.
This is a sweet video, I have one just like it. The sound of a P-51 just makes my heart beat faster.

Love the P-47 but that sound that the Merlin makes is un-equal. Nothing like it!
