Had season tickets to the New Jersey Generals of the USFL. They played in Jersey at the Meadowlands and I saw them play and lose to the Michigan Panthers. The star on the Generals was Blair Thomas who later played for the Jets(been a Jets fan since 1981) and he sucked.
