  • i see this all the time on the lunch room tables, first they gather up, than they dance and cause a ruckus

  • Yea. They are exploited by the chief that tells them to dance and pockets all the cash. But hay I do like the deep deep funk some of these tribes make. This is just a bunch of war mongering music here.

  • Cool video!

  • i will see that dance,i have zulu wife and i must go to SA bay dowry, that will be wonderfull, see you in SA

and if there is someone who can tell me what i have to do there,i dont know att all,im from Finland,so could someone tell me

  • i will see that dance,i have zulu wife and i must go to SA bay dowry, that will be wonderfull, see you in SA

  • I really like watching the dancing,I think it is COOL..

  • This is authentic Zulu dance but lacks conviction. Dancers should go to sort of a trance state. Hitting the ground like it's gonna open up. Thanks for promoting our culture.

  • Sumamente interesante.

  • Now this is African dancing, not that Caribbean booty shaking crap people pass off as our dances.

  • Well done! Keep preserving your culture. Much love from your Nigerian sister :D

  • I really enjoyed it! I respect the traditions and culture of other nations!

  • Beautiful, the only thing that's missing is the numbers. There should have been thousands, like in the time of Ushaka!!

  • thumbs up if you're here to see titties.

  • nice so beautiful please dance on venezuela...

  • they do that dance in Dominican Republic

  • Thats just beautiful

  • Beautiful...Thanks for Posting!

  • rasta robbo >> what the hell you talking about.?? theyr not exploited, you actually get zulu villages where they put up performances like this, to make a bit of money for themselves from tourists..!!! they ussually send theyre children to school with or buy some food with it. don't come talk about stuff you know nothing of.!!!!!

  • @frankenherman1 : lets continue this in my language zulu, then convince an elder like me otherwise! believe what you like, its your life

  • Damn...What dance team ....what a move!!!

  • do not change your culture for anybody stay real

  • Looks like a Bar-B-Q Pic-Nic at the whitehouse.....lol

  • I just want to know WHO gave this dude a whistle??? I love it .. very loud in my speaker. I would love to see a super WIDE shot .. i wished i had gone to this event seems very interesting

  • reminds me of native american dances.

  • @lester5192

Yeah programming is a powerful medium. Basically what programming, tv. media has not informed you is that technically the best way to say it is indigenous cultures which is same as native american, african, etc.

basically these are spirit, earth, religious and indigenous cultures.. thats why it seems similar based on the enviroment but you are right it is similar but the best way to describe in my own opinion is indigenous cultures

  • @WonderWomanFan4life i know i'm right. i know more about this stuff than you will ever know.

  • @lester5192

uhhh i was aggreeing with you .

  • @WonderWomanFan4life i know. i didn't say you weren't. you may have read/took that wrong.

  • @lester5192

I love this video i wished i could have been there. I love pow wow type events. i wonder what they called this event? do you know?? i am searching for more info on this.

  • @WonderWomanFan4life it involves words that are not really words, but sounds. they use sounds as titles, it's kinda confusing, yet common in africa. even with peoples names.

many of them welcome tourist to stay with them for a while but you gotta live like them for the most while there, they still practice the same exact ways they have for 100's of years.

i'm more into american native pow wows that are very common in places like albuquerque or phoenix. they have intense annual events there.

  • @lester5192

Hey Friend. Thanks for sharing. I figured as much. Have you seen these Brits? they go everywhere. When I lived in germany S.Africa is a huge tourist spot. A lot of Germans live there and vacation there. I didnt get to go but i would like to tour south africa i have to get my shots and money together. I forgot how many shots you have to take. but i definitely plan on going there. maybe by then they will have a zulu show or something LOL. idk

  • @WonderWomanFan4life maybe this negroe tribe could get invited to the white house since obama is related, it IS interesting to see such a primitive culture and know that these negroes here ARE the ancestors of the negroes ALL over the world....hopping around and jumping, maybe that comes from chasing monkeys and such

  • @EvanQuinn07

well the white house is very cultured. i think they do many things with the native americans why not the african tribes of indegnious persons? Great idea. i would love to see that. I am sure they will have many various cultures there for various reason.

  • @WonderWomanFan4life I don't know how many things they do with Native Americans, but that is a little different, the NA's were here , the negroe, unfortunately, was importedand never contributed much to the history of the US...I agree with you, I think Much much more should be done for the Native Americans, they suffered much at the hands of the white man, they have a rich long proud history, IF it were up to me,I'd do a LOT more for them

  • @EvanQuinn07

really?? what about cotton? Blacks planted cotton they helped build this great country of American. Indians were too lazy. Negros built plantation houses, planted tabaco, cotton, fruits, veggies, the woman were turned into baby makers by slave masters so he wouldnt have to pay for slaves. Many of them nursed white babies b/c white women would not nurse their own kids. Who raised the kids? look up Benjamin Banneker, and other black inventors. So blks have contributed a lot.

  • @EvanQuinn07

BaSEd on what you wrote i can see that programming, manipulation of the truth is STRONGER then ever if you think that NEGROES didnt contribute anything to American. My ancestors help build this mf also the Chinese. Chinese built the fucking railroads. Your people are to weak. Also Moses taught whites culture you are from Europa which means you were ROPED in CAVES because you were causing problems in AFRICA you are from BLACKs you are a virus. like FRANKENSTEIN story. COVERED UP

  • @EvanQuinn07

one day you will find the truth. i hope that you find out the truth about WHO you are and what your people have done to BLACK history. YOu do not know the truth because they have covered it up took BLACKS out of history almost. But you can only trace your history back up to 6000 years Blacks have been here for millions of years.. We are DARK MATTER. WE ARE PLANETARY. WE ARE NOT NEGRO, WE ARE NOT BLACK WE ARE PLANETARY.. We are made up of same shit that holds up the dam planets.

  • @EvanQuinn07

what about the cotton gin? What about a lot of the influences that the Blacks have made on music. YOu cannot listen to any type of music and not hear AFRICAN influence. Look at Eminiem he sings rap where did he learn that from? NIggas? at firs they didnt accept HIP HOP/Rap? The niggas had to put the music out underground now the JEW and the WHITES want to control it and make money off it . Ok Elvis copied niggas music. Black people contributed style in most forms of music

  • @WonderWomanFan4life as for all your other examples....you're delusional...negroes didn't build this country, the negroe at that time was a primitive clinically retarded savage, running around the jungle having sex with chimpanzees......

  • @EvanQuinn07

right now little white girls and black kids walk around calling each other nigga and they want HIP hop culture. Blacks influenced these styles of music you can see it. At first Black kids did most of the dancing hip hop styles now it is all over the world BLACKS influneced that so FUCK you. Fuckyour stupidity you dumb ass stupid honkey cracker mf. screw you. If it werent for blacks today many of you mfs would be broke. We spend a lot of our looks, style etc. i think we should stop

  • @WonderWomanFan4life ...lol....theres no need to name call now.....you're projection of anger is misdirected, it should be turned onto your negroe leaders. they are the ones that are suppressing the negroe of today.....there is something I'd like to know though....are you a house negroe or a field negroe?

  • @EvanQuinn07

Nobody is suppressing ANYONE. Everyone is in charge of themselves, their mental power, and to conquer their fears, challenges. Everyone including you is responsible for their own actions. With that being said. Our conversation is finished. You enjoy chaos in creating disorder, by saying things that you know may get a charge. I don't believe that you are as ignorant as your pretend. Have a nice weekend.

  • @EvanQuinn07 If you so intensely abhor Black people and our culture why do you spend your precious "white" time viewing videos about Black people and Black culture? Why don't you just indulge yourself in all the Nazi and white power videos and leave us Black people alone...something that your white ancestors should have did 400 years ago!!!

  • @EvanQuinn07

you know why china owns us today?? Because white people are too lazy to do their own work. They want others to do it they want to be in charge. Before they had blacks then the mexicans now they want to kick them out they breed as fast as negroes. Mexicans/indians were here first. but of course none of us every contributed to the earth. you are really stupid or uninformed.

  • @WonderWomanFan4life but if you haven't been smoking crack, I know why you're delusional.....you see the modern-day in a civilised society suffers greatly from a severe Lack of Self-Esteem, the negroe daddy beat him down,(WHEN he was around) the negroe mammy beat him down, .....no positive role models...the role models of the average negroe is the neighborhood Pimp, drug dealer or an nba bassetball player

  • @EvanQuinn07

OH yeah and by the way the LIONS GROUP which created that purple dinosaur BARNEY that is a NIGGA COMPANY yeah even the dude DAVid the played BARNEY he too is negro. they were from Dallas TEXAS area. Duhhh they did it that way so whitey would not even know. They made billions off Barney if whites new he was a nigga they may not have spend to smuch money.. elmo is also a nigga. did you know the voice of ELMO was black??

  • @WonderWomanFan4life ..calm down mr. negroe, you've been smoking crack haven't you? 'cause you're saying some crazy shit

  • souja boy inherited the dance from the zulu. :P

  • ZULU 4 EVER!!!!! HOTEP!!

  • It's nice to see a tribe unchanged by the bullshit of modern society.

  • Gita! Gita!

  • They're fucking afflicted

    SU AMIGA LAURA

  • titties at 0:21!!!

  • they look a bit sad don't you think because most people who dance zulu have more feeling

  • I am of boer descent an apart from the boer my favourite culture is Zulu culture

  • They young boy was the best!! What a little champ!

  • Great respect to the zulu tribe,as for being legendary warriros and for having great dance style and blood boiling drums (i love them).

  • ew, they aint wearun no shirt.

  • I'm from the hills, and it is here that these africans are exploited to dress and dance for an enterance fee paid by tourists, there is no real conviction neither substance to the dance. Whilst some of the moves resemble some authenticity, this unfortunately is tame. Depending on the theme for the dance, the emotions that come through the body of the dancer/s is not prevalent here. Look at Johnny Clegg dancing in the rural heartland and you will feel and see the difference. Tourist enjoyment?

  • @rastarobbo No pleasing some people. I suppose even Zulu dancers have their equivalent of Simon Cowl.

  • @rastarobbo I watched this post before reading any comments, and I noticed that the dancing didn't seem like it came from the heart. I immediately thought this was some type of tourist "dance production". The looks on the faces of the dancers, and their body movements (or lack of) tell the "true" story.

  • @rastarobbo I know if I were to travel to other countries to experience and value they're culture id like the real thing.

  • @rastarobbo PISS OFF

  • @rastarobbo with the poverty n destruction of tribes and cultures right across Africa, one would think this is an opportunity not exploitation. sadly in these times money speaks volumes, tribal culture speaks only to the tribe and feeds very little. Keep ur culture alive, share it with the world, be proud of who u are and where u came from, but dont call it exploitation, call it an oportunity.

  • @rastarobbo what do you want voodoo? voodoo does lol this is just culture dancing :P like anything else

  • @rastarobbo Dude, it's a lovely dance, let not the past hinder how we see our future. Its bright. Cheers man !

  • beautiful and inspiring : ))))

  • HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG SAY WHAT? GURLS I'LL HOUSE YOU YOU IN MA HOUSE NOW AH YEAH.

  • Black people were born to dance and party. It's in their blood.

  • that was awesome .enjoyed that every much. thanks

  • I love watching this. I am a distant relation of Senzangakhona and his son Shaka Zulu

even though I am white and live in Australia. I have always had a soft spot for the African people before finding out about my heritage. Thank you...

  • @SuperSharon1960 your white and you are a descendant of shaka zulu? iam not calling you a liart its just you know hard to believe

  • @SuperSharon1960 Thank u baby. We love u.

  • Love this video! I would like to use you video to illustrate a presenation I am doing about african music and its rhythms. Would it be possible to do that? Many thanks!!

  • @Akynsoul

I don't have the original footage, but if you can somehow copy it from this you are welcome to use it for your thing. Best of luck.

  • i love this vid these r my pple long live the zulu nation

  • awww look at the little one he's so cute. :)

  • I love it

  • I wish South Africa would strike up a deal with Disney to build a South Africa pavilion at Epcot. So much culture could be showcased there!

  • @rohirrim11rider ohh i Agree with you.

  • i see titties

  • Watching this reminds me of all the different Native American powwow dances I have seen.

  • This remind me of a dvd i have. shaka zulu. This is so cool.

  • i love that cape..does taht signifies anyhing? like rank or status?

  • friggin sweet! wish I was there

  • Is this a dance for tourists or is this a traditional dance? It's very intersting none the less.

  • deserve it one big bravo!!!! i put this wonderful ...dance at my global colection of music!!! i love you africa!!!!

  • Thats so beautiful!!!!! What masculinity and virility!! yummy! This is pure Africa without the corruption of the western culture.

African people, please preserve your culture, they stole your land, now they want to steal your soul, dont let your beautiful culture be perverted by the western gay culture.

  • Way Cool!!.... ; )

  • muy bueno.....

  • Love the drumming thanks dude for uploading it!

  • I totally see where Steppin came from in this video. That was amazing.

  • I love it..especially the youngest member! Thanks for posting!

  • Oh yeah! Traditional African dance... just crusin' videos and ran across this one. So much gained today.... so much "more" lost!!!!!

  • c'est magnifique..

  • i think this looks amazing :D

  • i see why they kicked the brits ass LOL tough bunch

  • @paseggiato

When did they kick brit ass? I thought they got mowed down by brits.

  • @cookiesandcartoons The Zulus won a few battles but they lost the war. Alot of people consider that impressive since the Zulus were using traditional weapons and the British were using guns.

  • thank you for posting this, watching this makes me want to visit africa and get to know zulu culture, or any african culture for that matter, more and see it for myself.

i especially love the drums, there's such an energy to them they make you just want to get up and dance with them

  • my father is planning to take me to Ghana, i really want to experience watching or at least trying a dance like this ^.^

  • Beautiful tradition.

  • Looks very similar to Greek Pondos war dances.

  • amazing, wonderful, and very nice, love the boere..!

  • fantastic! and terrific film quality!

thank you for filtering the comments! nearly anything about black folks and/or africa attracts the nastiest comments. i hope that others take your example.

  • We should celebrate all the peoples and cultures of the world. Cherish what we have - diverisity. I love looking up Youtube footage of various cultures & traditions of the world. Every country has something different to give, something to admire. Respect your fellow man. Spread love, not hate.

  • Did they have whistles back in Shaka Zulu's day? I doubt it. They could really do without them. Zulu music is great to drown it out with that crap.

  • @Fenrir133 Whistles date back to aincent China, many many centuries ago, so it's perfectly feasible that the Zulus had them too. It's not a difficult object to make. A piece of wood/willow/bamboo and a small round object?

  • @Fenrir133

i share your sentiments....something about the whistle doesn't fit the picture....lol.

i could be wrong, but, to me, that whistle seems to somewhat compromise that traditional feeling... but, for all i know, they may have been using the whistle for centuries.

  • @in991 Whistles have been used since the dawn of time in all cultures. Hollow bones produce that sound when blown into.

  • @Fenrir133

    we make whistles from wood.

    it has existed BC.

  • Hadezul2, if you were the one that shot this video footage, you are one fortunate person. This is absolutely incredible. I would give most anything to actually hae the opportunity to see such a dance in person. All I can say is "WOW"!

  • Великолепно!

  • When I hear drums I go crazy because I love that kind of rhythm. Love this.

  • WOW. Their life is COOL....except for the civil wars that engulf the nations of Africa.

  • I love the African Culture...I am Mexican and we do the same but different....they are Native to thier land and so are we....(Mexico) I love my AFRICAN BROTHER.....GREAT MUSIC AND DANCE.......CHICAGO;)

  • @MrGustavogallegos latin culture is massivly influenced by African culture

  • @JayoJay yes I agree!!!!!!!...

  • That was cool.

  • traditional is always the best,as these are excellant to see and listen to.

  • A very very very beautiful... all the best from Brazil

  • Sometimes i can just hear it, Africa, its calling me.

  • Yendoda where is this group from they know their thing

  • I repeat, any hostile remarks will have the posters blocked and their messages removed.

  • @Hadezul2 i think the modern american dance evolve from african tribal dance.. great

  • @Hadezul2 May blood be drawn from them; to mock our sacred country. God bless South Africa!

  • My dads black, hes a really nice guy

  • Africans are not African thats a slave name, Africans have tribes, they are indians like me,

  • @Dudex58 thank you!! africans have tribes too and wen people look at them sum say thy copy the indian 1ns but we dont we are completely diffrent!!

  • Im British and i have always admired the zulu warriors and respected them since i was a child i have read the life story of shaka zulu and that was awsome reading !!

  • I really like thet type of music that they sing at the beginning i was wondering what i could write to find more songs that are just that if anyone could help me. Thankyou

  • your all very mature arguing over youtube. shutup and enjoy the video you gooses...

  • @columbohightower Well, the Aztecs did do a bunch of human sacrifices and ritual cannibalism, which is pretty badass.

But the Zulus were more advanced weapon wise, and they resisted the British right until the late 19th century. Isandlwana was 1879, less than 150 years ago.

  • @ManicParroT Agreed. An old tradition sorely missing from todays modern culture...

  • The rythm of this dance is intoxicating

  • I would like to see a show down on "The Deadliest Warrior"

  • Strikingly similar to dances of Native Americans

  • Could it be because all people emanate from Africa? Look at the so-called Bushmen and look at the Asian people. Bushmen are described as having yellow skin, short and small hands and feet and squinty eyes

  • Very very possible. The three major category of races can easily be explained by enviromental adapaptations...I have heard that Africa is the cradle of early mankind

  • screw you, youve probabley never even seen a native american dance so dont make compare it to my people im native american

  • Here I am trying to make comparisons and say how beautiful all native people are and I get "screw you"...very nice....look.. if we cant celebrate each other and see our common ground, how can we ever expect to come together? By the way...when I said Native American I was referring specifically to Aztecs...lots of rythmic drum beats, body decorations, and dancing as one...That's what I was talking about....But it's s shame you didn't bother to ask...

  • @Avonaco76 i know but we dont copy them coz how wud we knw we have nuthing to do with nativs lol

  • beautiful people.

    fuck western world!

  • hola colegio don bosco xd

  • :D if you look at the beginning you will see topless women :D where were the topless women when i was 10! Damn it that lil boy got a free flash

  • @nasurdan Haha, I don't think he cares. It would be like a Muslim dude saying to you "OMG, you can look at girl's ANKLES? DUDE!"

  • lol when i was 10 i remember sneaking into the mail stealing the victora secrete mags. LOL all it took was a female ankle and i was turn on, but now sadly it takes a little more than a ankle to get me up.. unless the ankle touched me then its up like donkie kong

  • Hahaha! R u jealous or smthing?!?!?!.....bt the boy doesnt see it as a "flash" bcoz "nudity" is mostly a western concept tht ws pretty much nonexistent in african cultures. So, while u wld get aroused @ the sight of topless women, the young boy dsnt even flinch. :)

  • wich planet r you from you nummty. you should be very a shamed of your self.cause even chinese they can tell better so wich kind fake r u if not apretender.usijwalakabi ushongobubi.hambala you silima

  • EvanQuinn07. When we die and enter the world of truth, we will discover that we wasted our precious life on Earth with hatred. In the spirit world, remorse awaits many of us.

  • Our planet is wonderful- so many different interesting people, traditions, colours, animals, plants- our earth is may be the most beautiful place in the space.

I like all people of all continents- the children of mother earth. :-)

A very beautiful dance. Thank you!

  • @glaubehoffnungliebe8 what you say is right but i dont understand why many of them thing of destroyiny such beautiful nature instead of nourishing it they thing of destroying it .

  • best dance ever

  • Shaka vs Montezuma...who's more badass? Aztec or Zulu?

  • I have known some Zulu's. I learned to be a better human for the effort. From Spokes Mashiyane to the Dark City Sisters, to a world gone wild for money, I learned what a strange world it is. A penny whistle playing kwela to Isandlwana to Rorkes Drift to Nottingham museum...what a strange trip. 40 plus years after meeting them on a freezing day Jan 1966 at Knox College in Illinois, I wish them peace and understanding. For Al and Harvey, wherever you are.

  • Hey honky bitch, you gonna loose in the end no matter what. Braaap!

  • lililili agida amadoda!!!

  • please ignore the clowns who try to insult our ancestry and culture funny how you hate us so much but yet came over to our land and taking resourses to survive you would be nothing without us lol to that

  • @kopenmaster1 i know u damn right!! my tribe is zulu, xhosa and shona they cum and steal our land and call it theres ?? power!!

  • So is you mother.

  • CUL-CHA! Brrrraps, braps!

  • Where's this? at the White house?

  • I see what you are trying to say but Zulus are from South Africa. Obama's father was Kenya which is in East Africa. And, yes, he is in the White House, deal with it.

  • african version of square dancing

  • in the beginning when the women disperse the guy said who touched the lions so the men start doing thier thing zulu 4 life.hol

  • 2:00. Ha, that's cool.

  • Not many people reasile that all the dancers are actually fully qualified accountants in real life.

  • Heh heh, the little boy is so cool. He so wants to keep up with the elders and do it right. He's concentrating so hard. Brilliant.

  • To think we or my Ancestors tried to wipe out these fantastic sensitive people defies logic, god I do hope we have learned something, We are All one no matter which way you throw the dice, why Oh why me as a white English guy should be made happy by listening to this defies logic and shows me that they can inspire in me happiness and not a stupid territorial wish to annihilate them

  • i love u

  • Are you taking the piss...?

  • @niceonemicky Niceonemicky, there has already been too much blame. Relax... the future is ours... an theirs.

By the way, this is pure 'show'. The traditional dancing doesn't look quite like this ; )
