This is not "by" Eva Cassidy. Yes she covered it, but it was written and originally sung by Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac from their Rumours album. Please give credit where it's due
Dina I loved the song and performance... I tried commenting earlier in the week but yt kept eating comments and I got frustrated and gave up lol. Good Luck on your exam tomorrow!!
Thanks for the compliment on my necklace - my mom bought it for me :).
Thanks for the good wishes, I wish you good luck as well! You will make it through the next round though. I wont be calling in tonight though, my mom will be in my place. I have a big exam tomorrow morning and I need to study. Speaking of studying, I should get back to it!
You are a front runner in this competition, as many people have said. Other competitors, some girls particularly, should be coming to you for advice. Good job.
Great job Dina. This reminds me of a very sad time, when you sang this at your grandma's funeral. It's a beautiful song and you performed it beautifully then and now! Love you!
It was nice and pleasant. The song was three minutes...but if felt like 5 tho. Some of those notes you hold start out flat..but you caught youself and slid there. But sliding in a very slow song for me makes it drawn out and even more boring. You sung it OK, but the song choice wasnt as great as last week.
A very nice job - not as good as the past, but still very good. I think maybe the key was a bit high for you - some of the high notes you tended to slide into, starting out a bit flat but eventually hitting. I have the same issue trying to sing softly, but it's not as difficult with full voice (seemed the same for you). I think some of the connection was lacking a bit because you were thinking too much about technique and hitting the notes. Probably a lower key would have solved a lot.
I feel quite comfortable singing in this key. It must not have come across on camera well. I'll try and improve for next time. Thanks for the comments.
