Hey I have been a Bon Iver fan for a while but still like this a lot. Fair enough, some intimacy was lost but it's not like the original has been erased. We can listen to both. Hey I have been a Bon Iver fan for a while but still like this a lot. Fair enough, some intimacy was lost but it's not like the original has been erased. We can listen to both. I think that in itself is awesome and good for we Bon Iver fan as it shows his kickass versatility. Besides props to Kanye for giving the original a significant amount of playtime on its own. Much more respect than other sampling like Cudi

Would sound 1000 times better if it wasn't excessively auto tuned, and if Kanye's voice was removed. Kanye has a fixation with over auto tunning his songs (probably because he cant sing). Listen to that "toast to the shitbags" song, there's a part in it where its so auto tuned it turns into indistinguishable mumbling. Sounds aweful.

Kanye West, with millions of dollars of studio time, couldn't do what Justin Vernon did for free by himself alone in a cabin. I thought this was beautiful, and I thought Kanye's new album was a masterpiece. I also think Bon Iver makes beautiful music. Maybe I'm one of the few people in this world who appreciates all music. I listen to everything from Kanye to Pavarotti to Bon Iver to A Day to Remember. I don't like how everyone is dissing the song. Take it for what it is: Two almost completely different artist/genre's were mixed and it should be appreciated.. just saying.
