Great video..I remember a lot of my childhood consisted of playing Pokemon FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, and Sapphire with my friends on our Gameboy Advances....I've had all the Nintendo Ds systems and they were great, but I will never forget all the good times I had with my Gameboy....Hopefully, someday in the near future, even though I don't have one anymore, I'll be able to play all the games I used to on the 3ds or the next Ds to come!!!

Nintendo needs to come out with a completely epic handheld dropping the DS name and giving it the Game Boy name.

@MCRGabbyMCR I'd say go with the DSi, especially if you are looking for an original GBA as well. The DS and DSlite have the ability to play GBA games, which is great, but the DSi has a better operating system, online shop, and other improvements. Plus if you decide to get a 3DS, you can transfer everything from it. As for a GBA, I'd look on eBay, or check a game store like Play N Trade, which usually has older stuff. GBAs play original GB games too, which is awesome. Good luck!

I have had every game boy system (Up to DSi) and I was insulted that they didn't have a gamegirl though I got over it quickly because I was pretty much a boy in contrast to the other girls in my class. The pocket was junk it broke by falling off my nightstand and yet my gameboy color was washed twice and dropped I don't know how many times.

actually I didn't forget though; I thought about adding the super gameboy, super gameboy 2 and the gamecube's gameboy player, but I figured those were peripherals that didn't actually advance the line of handhelds. Bascially they just allowed handheld games to be played on the big screen. Nice, but not an evolution.
