  • Yes, they both make a difference.

  • Why 10'? Is this just a demonstration? The DMV requires 12" for licensing.

  • A 12 foot cone weave is a beginner level, but is best for 24 foot circles and U turns. Being able to do a 10 foot cone weave is better for 20 foot circles and U turns. I haven't found a need to get smaller than that.

  • @gershonbenfranja OK. Do you know the reasoning behind the MSF establishing such a skills test for licensing??? I road for a dozen years in another state and this wasn't required. Now have to be license again, with new tests. Of course this test is ridiculous to try using a large displacement sport bike, which I did (and failed). I'll have to practice some more before testing again. I've heard of some people just getting a smaller loaner bike just so they can pass the offset weave. lol ☺

  • @gershonbenfranja I believe the length of the bike your riding and the steering lock makes a big difference, my full lock u turns wont be the same as yours and the rear wheel trailing on longer bikes makes it a lot harder than on shorter bikes
