@lilwalkinglegs huge range of factors: ability of the shooter, quality of rounds used, quality of the rifle, quality of the barrel, condition of the rifle and barrel, quality of scope and zero, weather, temperature, shooter's eyesight, and of course, the amount of land you have permission to shoot on! my coack got a rabbit at 300 yards, i know of 400 yard shots. maybe more, but you really need a larger caliber to go to 600+ yards. Try .308 or .338. thatl do 1-2 miles in the right hands!
