  • Very nice

  • wonderful gungfu lady ^O^

  • force of nature to be reckoned with!!!! very very good.

  • She's really the best!

  • It's sad how the knowledge of authentic Kung Fu has been degenerated in most case.

Especially in certain Wu shu styles like Nan quan (that is like a shade of the traditional Hung Family Fist) I don't see any content any more, just empty form.

  • @MeomariAlionamde I think the forms were ok until they implemented that new judging system a while back... then everything went to heck. Current forms are just filled with movements for the sole purpose of obtaining more points. I studied modern wushu for the majority of my kung fu training but now I'm shifting my focus to traditional forms.

  • chen lihong rocked this form... that's all i'm gonna say ;)

  • Wow! She's awesome!!!!

  • I give to her 20 of 10 :D hahaha Excellent.

  • wow this girl its very very good!!

  • fuck cheating on hur

  • cool....im happy learning nan quan too....^^

  • she is very impressive

  • I'm happy I'm learning a nanquan form. And even more happy it is on youtube!

  • AMAZING

  • i prefer northern styles like changquan but if all nanuan forms were as awesome as this id like it just as much as changquan

  • wow. how the hell does she swing her arm so fast for pao quan??

  • it is choi lei fut.

  • it is nan quan. Contemporary southern style.

  • haha...i have this dvd!!

  • look how well she uses her weight in each swinging attack...this is excellent

  • Definitely strong on speed and stamina, but the stances are too high and therefore she lacks the power of a strong twist from a low horse stance into a bow stance through the hip movement. Otherwise good.

  • amazing, great find, yes it does rival the woman from shanghai that ruled in the 90s up to 2001

  • Hey! So the woman's name from Shanghai: Ding Hui Ru. Also, Luo Hao, from 2003 worlds was actaully the very manly looking nq/nd woman from Tianjin in 2001! Crazy banshee! I always knew that girl was good, but I wasn't sure if she'd be champ! There's my answer! she looked much sharper in 2003. Makes me want to go out and purchase 02 nanquan now! Pc.

  • My top picks would be: Huang Chun Ni, Zhang Ya Qi,and some woman from Shanghai in 2001 (Dui Ru or soemthing, she wore purpole silk, and very explosive). Pc! Liang Yan Hua from "Fuzzymonk" is one of my fave female guiding nanquan. See ya!

  • i like chen li hong more than liang yan hua ;-)

btw: do you happen to know who was the female nanquan competitor from china in world games 2003? she was pretty good too!

    cu

  • pretty good, she was strong and had that banshee like yell :). Let's dig into my bag of trix for that one... her name is "Hao Luo" . Haven't heard of her before, but she killed it! The guy was Huang Shao Xiong, from Guangxi, former coach of Wang Peng Cheng and Xie Fu Yan, their pre-sucking stage :). Amazing she was. I'm tired of this Lin Fan hype, let's get it straight. She sucks with her mooshy movements and overly slopey shoulders and super low tang lang ma bu's. See ya!

  • yeah, the guy was huang shao xiong. he used to teach over here in germany for a while. but i think he's in malaysia now (not sure tho).

i have to say that i'm not feelin most of female nq today. especially lin fan ;-) only a few good ones nowadays!

  • ah, and thanks for the name. i just looked it up on wushucentral!

  • sweet, I actually looked back up the worlds results posted in 2003 on my federation website. I remember following the results closely :). This nerd got A + in wushu class :). Mao Ya Qi is decent, and you can't hate on Wu Yi Yi, who got first in nandao qualifiers :

    watch?v=71YviCy_vhM

Or her teammate "San Yi" :

    watch?v=H0WR0iEvGJ4

Heard MYQ's retired tho, so is Zhang Ya Qi b/c of her knee injury. You see the wushuzilla vids yet? We also lost another soldier: Wang Lin. Boo hoo :). pc

  • Did you train wtih Huang Shao Xiong? I attribute WpC and XFY's early amazing stancework (pre-2005) to HSX's work, but later they both tried to wing their nanquan, apparently without basic practice! Was he a good teacher if you know? Also, why did he leave shanghai? That team looked ready to produce some nanquan champions in 2004, then it just fell apart southern wise.

  • Is HSX working with Horobin (now a coach btw? I heard Chen Shuai of Fujian was sent to Malaysia in 05. What a mix of nq! Add Pui Foo Chien too and the pot explodes!! :) S ee ya!

  • When he was in Germany he also came to the netherlands and used to teach us, i think he's a great teacher, my nan quan surely improved twice as much at the time he tought me, it also helped when we gone back to china and trained with wang peng cheng, i dunno if he's coaching horobin etc or not, but he is in malaysia that is for sure

  • @BeezQuixote Luo Han... yeah....

i think mao yaqi from zhejiang deserves some attention from you.

lin fan is too fujianese, that is the problem ;)

  • @xibanyae Word! Mao ya qi is a solid staple! I've been a fan of her for years! i thought her and zhang ya qi were the best in 05! Hollr!

  • what's this, is she the one who did the compulsory model right?

  • Awesome 5*****
