its an ingenious idea.. basically an unlimited 3G data plan, no extra services with skype installed... you can get a dirt cheap subscription to skype for unlimited local and long distance to landlines, and even your own phone number people could dial to call you, and technically your own phone number would count as a VOIP landline so they wouldnt have to pay extra to call a mobile all for what? 5 euro a month?... now i wish i lived in the UK so i could give cell phone providers the finger

unfortunately the skypephone on carrier 3 here in the uk only supports actualy skype to skype, no skypein, ie. online numbers. :(

You dont need to top up any extra a month for the skype function for free! U can even use it when you have no credit! This phone is just plain amazing man!!! So cheap too!!!

the landline subscription is awesome for the pc. about 2 pound 33 a month to phone unlimited uk landlines(fair usage 1000 minutes) free skype number and voicemail. you can also buy a euro subscription and a world one for slighly more in price. and you can move your details over to phone so you can use it on the go

this phone rocks, ya can use 2gig sd even though it says 1gig max , can call skype to skype for totally free, only prob is they left out skypeout and also skypein numbers dont ring either :( not even if ya transfer call from another skype with skype in , ya can go on confrence calls stick calls on hold and move to other calls with the 3 network also get connected to conference calls through skype although you cant start a conference but all in all 10 outa 10 for value n style
