vista is better if you know how to use it... i got vista ultimate to run on a stock satellite piece of shit dual core 1 gb ram laptop... so if you know how to configure vista to where is runs optimally on your comp then your good.

basically you have to know the ins and outs of the system and how to disable services that slow down the processor

the slower the processor the better and faster your comp will run and by disabling some security features and other useless shit that vista has built in, makes vista run a lot lighter... so i hope you get that cause i cant explain it any other way

Those web-based "operating systems" are a nice thing to show whats possible with Javascript and AJAX and such a stuff, but honestly not more... may change with future web-technologies who knows but the overhead would still make it hungry, sloppy and pointless

gOS is a free Linux distribution so I don't know how exactly you would buy it o.O.

Anyways, AFAIK gOS isn't actually distributed by Google (rather by "Good OS LLC") and is a Linux distribution so I don't know why it is termed "Google OS" (though I know it is centralized around Google applications). Personally though I do not see the point in just running a newer version of Ubuntu as gOS 2.9 is still based on the older Ubuntu Feisty Fawn as opposed to the newer Gutsy Gibbon or Hardy Heron.
