Hmm, interesting contrast. Jockeys in england are required to control the horse themselves. Once they are on the track, they get no assistance (unless they fall etc, obviously)
Gosh, there must be a lot of accidents and bad starts in England which could be avoided.
I will try to do some better film of this kind of thing with tripod in the future. I really like the cooperation between ... man and beast (hate that cliche).
Barely any. The horses are required to behave so they are trained to load obediently because the penalty for the horse misbehaving is the horse not starting
