Someone please help I did everything he said, but when I load the game with gecko it says the codes name RSBA01 then it says codes not found. I did everything, except I don't get the description it says make sure settings are like these? I haven't touched the settings but I'm not sure that's the problem. :(

@x9Voltagex Make sure you have the file "patch" on he root of your SD -----NO CAPITALS--------- and then make sure the file inside the patch folder is a .gpf

hey whenever i click the gecko os thing on homebrew my tv just goes black but if i hold the power button on my wii long enough it goes off help me :(

Zogseven, I'm desperate to get my Gecko to work.. Can anyone help me? I'll subscribe to you : (. Well my problem is, Everytime I turn on my wii after installing Gecko, all i see is a black screen and my wii remote ceases to work. I have 4.3U wii version. I tried 1.9.1, 192, and 1.9.3.1 .. And none of them work... Can someone help me please?

@Uninstallplz Make sure your Homebrew channel is completely up to date other than that there is a chance that it could be your wii

@Uninstallplz make sure you have everything unplugged. So your mic needs to be unplugged. worked for me.

@MMswineflu96 does it freeze at the black screen??? if it does then when you start gecko os 1.9.3.1,plug off your mic when you start it. hope i help =D

DVD-R burnt games wont run on Gecko? im getting "DVD not found" in Gecko 1.9. anyu ideas?

@MegaZoneEXE ya mi wouldn't use gecko os for burnt games because there is a heck load of steps you need to do to get dvd-r discs to work properly.

Man I am having issues getting gecko to work, I try and load it with loadmii, and it loads for a second or two, then it goes back to the wii menu. I am on homebrew 4.3

When i play ssbb to texture and PSA hack, the codes show, but the file replacement hacks dont show up, like if i put in a psa now, it doesnt work, when it was working yesterday ! i have the file replacement phantom wings code on but still nothing, i didnt change my settings, i even uninstalled it, and installed it again, still not working, wtf ????

ok im on 4.0U and have used this app with no problem...however i was recently tinkering with ios trying to get better dvd compatibility and i also got the back up launcher on the SD card. gecko stopped loading, just goes black and freezes the wii. i just dumped my saved NAND back on the wii (from when it was working) and it still wont load....wtf....

@reservoirdog1 I figured it out. You need to get the Trucha Bug Restorer, and use it on the homebrew. It will make it work.

1.Is it that Gecko won't load, If so what version of Wii do you have? 4.1 4.2 4.3?

2.What loader are you use to launch Gecko? Homebrew Channel, USB Loader, ect.

1.If using Homebrew make sure you have the latest version of Homebrew channel, This is what I use.
