  • It's not the bus drivers it's bloody roadworks they seem to be everyware and anyware half the time no one is actually doing any roadworks and after they finished someone else comes along and starts again and then if we all got the bus and left out cars at home then this would not happen

  • @johncas1 and this is an excuse to jump a red light? Probably best if you stuck to the bus mate

  • how did the police not see that? if you went through a red light you would be fined £60+3 points on your licence.(if you get caught).

  • silly cunt

  • Well this shi happens 2 me all the time with patel bus drivers, so u have 2 understand car drivers might b on the rush

  • Some people don't understand that if the bus is carrying passengers it's actually illegal for him to reversve without proper supervision!!

  • This is what happens when you employ Polish bus drivers.

  • all a bunch of tossers. THe fact they are getting upset over something so trivial.

  • the longer they argue the longer it takes... just let him pass you fuckwits

  • I can never understand the point of sounding your car horn repeatedly. What do you think its going to do? Blow the bus out of the way????!!

  • fucken londeners

  • bus drivers in ealing are shit ive had a few near misses in my car round ealing highstreet because they dont know how to drive wankers bus drivers outside london r better though

  • Tooting the horn solves everything!

  • Typical. Single occupant cars and a motorbike think they are more important road users than a bus carrying passengers. Most likely what has happened is the driver passed the light on amber but as usual, these poxy roadwork lights are timed for cars to whizz through, then the idiot waiting for the light to turn green doesn't see a 13 foot high bus still coming through and arrogantly sets off, blaming the bus driver for being too slow to get through.

  • Typical fuckwit driver.

  • Typically public always moaning notice how it's only one group of people who are abusive

  • Bus drivers I've shit em

  • What did you record this with? A toaster

  • If the idiot car drivers had just been less impatient and let the bus through then everyone could have got on with their day.

  • Yawnnn

  • Isn't it wonderful to see people of the world getting along in peace and harmony ?

  • videod on a calculator?

  • dis is what happened man ah was reading ma benefits allowance when da bike man cuts in my front man ,, den he says i aint gettin no benefits man so ah said i would get hime for being da racist man

  • Ok the bus is an ALX400 Dennis Trident. He has a time table to adhere to and if he's even more unlucky, he's just commuted along way to work just to drive a fucking bus. Give the poor sod a flaming break. It could be far worse for him, as he could be working for Emsworth and District and that is a real shit company.

  • they jump red lights all the time in plymouth

  • @SerenityCrysweet That's why Plymouth is a shithole.

  • Comment removed

  • Its illegal for a bus to reverse while passengers are onboard.

  • @TheAegisClaw I think that's one of those things that everyone knows but isn't actually true. If it is true then it's a stupid law which is broken by every bus driver every day, and needs to be changed.

  • @fatmikecj Oh it is true, one of my friends is a bus instructor, he trains people to drive them.

  • @TheAegisClaw Huh. Well you learn something new everyday. So why is that a law then? I assume there must be some reason for it, but I can't think of one that makes sense.

  • wow retards standing infont of the bus stopping everyone moving arguing because they have been held up. such smart people...

  • The twit on the bike is a traffic warden knob head, There is no calm to this here just a bunch of low life scum bags arguing with each other!

  • Its London.. note the constant sounding of horns & no British accent to be heard.

  • Bus drivers have low IQs and lower sperm counts. That's why they lose their tempers.

  • @catbells69 car drivers lose their tempers much much quicker - what does that say about them? :)

  • @BobM925 Feel free to make reasonable deductions. :O)

  • he must have thought that he was riding a bike!

  • i hate bus drivers, they just stand there and look as they shit there pants when they mess up, they are all shit drivers

  • hahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha stupid bus

  • I saw a lot of these curious traffic videos here on yt , especially from Great Britain and America.

Question: are the people in this countries really so aggressive and retarted persons?

  • @speedemonhahahaha ...like i said... people should be more tolerent/patient regardless of the rules...! ...People do make mistakes in life! Life is too short for this petty mindedness! And as TMV209 says... it is actually illigal to reverse a bus with passengers on... Moron! Sorry just returning the compliment! True no one forced them to take the job... maybe they have a family to keep and this was the only job that payed enough or was available! ...Ex toilet-cleaners...? You make me laugh!

  • @speedemonhahahaha hhahhha, maybe it'll teach the bus drivers a lesson and it's great the way when you're driving behind them and they're going at like 2mph, then when you're actually on the bus they're going at like 50, they go through red lights and once I seen someone get run over by one! :/

  • @speedemonhahahaha I know :/

  • Bus driver seem to think that they're are loyalty and on top of the world just because they're driving big viecles, they need to go fuck themselves the stupid idiots!

  • @iTalkApple952 spell try learning to spell

  • Respond to this video... spell learn to spell

  • @hpjames100 what did i spell wrong :/

  • @iTalkApple952 buses.

  • ...How can he/she possibly see to reverse!

  • AS a Bus Driver of 28 years with no accidents at all and fully conversant with the rules only under supervision by a police officer, competent member of the public, or company official can a bus reverse with passenger"s on board.

  • its scary.... imagine the responsibility that bus driver had!!! all bus company should impose mental check up as well....

  • @Pathriciya... no, this is.

    /watch?v=-w7uQ1Yzz4o&feature=related

  • car fuckers- you time in cities is nigh- get the fuck out of your overpriced French and German shite boxes and use public transport.

  • Whether or not the bus went through a red light is not proven. However, a green light means go if it is safe to do so. Why did the car drivers proceed if they had no where to go? A bit of observation and common sense would have worked wonders.

  • if the rules of the road were to come into effect here, there would be the rule that smaller vehicles always yield to hgvs/buses

  • its just as likely the lights were still green or just changing as the bus passed them. being temporary traffic lights for roadworks the timing is probably set wrong. enough time for a car to drive through but bus has to take it slower, hence others accuse the bus of driving through red because the lights are too short and the opposite traffic has been given a green light before bus has cleared the roadworks. happens frequently where i work

  • @jumbodoug Where you work, which bus depo is that then?

  • @jumbodoug I think you're right. There's been many times when I've just passed a green temporary traffic light and it's turned red, but luckily the length of road works was short enough for opposing traffic to see I'm already commited, although the other light has turned green. Blame the f***ing useless council. Useless shower of shit.

  • Don't blame the bus driver blame the fact that there are fucking roadworks AGAIN. For people not from the uk, a few facts.....

Roadworks are present at ALL TIMES clogging up already congested roads with badly timed temp traffic lights. The road works are normally only operated on between the hours of 10am-4pm Monday to Friday no matter how major a route is. I wish they would work 24/7 to get them finished but as this country seems to be run by a bunch of retards this will never happen.

  • @bus140808 Wrong, they start at 8am actually.

  • Why dont other motorists offer to watch his back while he reverses, the quicker they help out the quicker everybody can get moving instead of arguing.

  • I agree

  • I agree

  • these people are ridiculous !

  • like previously stated, no one knows that its illegal for the bus driver to reverse with passengers onboard full stop (and only a short distance empty)

  • where can't there turn around and go another way. Because there is still road work .

instead of peeping there horn. And there should of let the bus go quickly he prombley did it by accident. He was probley not constratianing

  • becuase the bus driver has to go past that road works all day maybe he got pissed off and couldnt be arsed to stop, and by the way that is a rare E8 sight, ussaly they are single deckers.

  • I'd have rammed the fucker and then scraped down the side. I drive an ex-Militaryish Land Rover. I wouldn't have given a fuck about the driver.

  • i normally stay put and let the cunts go around me,let them do the hard work, bastards

  • English drama queens!...drive around the fuckin bus

  • who's the dick on the motobike why should it bother him

  • @balf1111117373 coz he was still waiting for the trafic to move but it didn't so got angry as would you..

  • @69plasticbags Na i would of popped onto the curb and drove around and continued my journey on my merry way, that's 1 advantage of having a bike

  • @balf1111117373 i did that to day ;) shhhhh

  • let me guest, temporary traffic lights, you know they aren't really legal, have you seen how crap they, many with sensor tops on them that never work, mind you, they are no different than the normal road sensor traffic lights you see every day in london.

  • God I hate Metroline bus drivers and selkents

  • That's what everyone likes to do, bicker and honk!

  • Graet seing a Metroline ALX400

  • Driver should have just got out of his cab and walked away, that would have been well funny!

  • awesome video i like how you tuc his license plate

  • im a bus driver and not all busses have reverse cams the piles of crap i drive are lucky to even go in reverse and you are not aloud to reverse a bus in service with passengers and you cant reverse bus with out passengers unless you have a banks man

  • usually if i was first waiting in line waiting for a green light to change i'd make sure the road ahead clear before continuing, how could you miss a big red bus. No instead as soon is it goes green put your foot down then bitch and moan.

  • metroline are notorious for going through red lights!!!! always happens on the 237!!!!!

  • why dont the cars just go around him instead of blow horns wot twats

  • The guy in the black T-shirt at the start asked bus driver to move forward tight against the fence so that the cars could mount the pavement and get round him. The bus driver refused to move and when the guy went back to tell the lady he can be heard saying "it ridiculous - he went through he light"

  • @mitsub10 How the hell can they go around? It`s a SINGLE lane due to road works! hence the traffic lights!

  • @mitsub10 because they love their horns

  • A fucking Bus Driver did that in Oxford Street he could of hit atleast Twenty people at his speed

  • you should not reverse a bus in service without a director who doesn't have to be a copper. If you do all the passengers must alight ....Denmark still uses horse drawn omnibuses - I was told.....

  • Company regulations usually state that you cannot reverse a service bus with passengers on without a banks man. In that situation the driver is recommended to wait for someone to assist him in reversing. Also some traffic lights do not allow enough time for a bus to complete a manoeuvre, ie travel a particular route. ie between two or more sets of traffic lights. BTDT enough times.

  • that bus goes past my house =]

  • I think thats just outside Brentford library, they have made the E8 double deckers to E2 double deckers now.

  • ye but the E2 is permanent double decker

  • it is illigal to reverse a PCV vehicle on the main road without a police banksman therefore the bus driver was right to refuse to reverse i personally would have sat there it does take time to make manouvers in tight areas the lights can all so easily change both ends trapping a large vehicle in the middile making it look like he jumped the lights when he may have not.

  • Well said VolvoFH, all these people come on here make comments and none of them have ever actually driven a Bus or Hold a PCV Licence

  • Will a lorry licence be good enough to present "inside information"?

I've never heard of any law forbidding the reversing of a bus, with or without passengers.

Of course UK rules might be different from danish?

Only thing is bendy buses where it is RECOMMENDED not to reverse them and not to drive too fast in slippery conditions since the rear part might drift.

  • Have any of you that has made a comment ever driven a bus. It is actually illegal to reverse a bus with passengers on. I cannot comment on the actual film because I wasnt there, but it is very hard to see what is behind you in a bus and after all Bus Drivers are human to and can make occasional mistakes, like most of you lot do everyday except in your jobs many things can go unseen or can be rectified !!!!!!

  • @TMV209 there is camera on the bus to see what is behind it

  • @TMV209 Its not illegal to reverse with passengers on. Its the fact that its a large vehicle with too many blind spots. He needs a banks man to help him reverse. But he did allready break the law by going thru a red light wihtout stoping.

When it comes to driving a large vehicle with people inside then its not an excuse to be Human so they can risk killing someone. They shouldn't be driving a bus.

  • @Tzimnewman3 t IS illegal to reverse a bus with passengers on a public road unless it is in a place which has been safety tested for such a purpose.

  • @armours Its not illegal to reverse a bus on a public road unless he does it without a banksmen. Of Course it has to be a trained banksmen but you can nromaly find many at a construction site.

  • @Tzimnewman3 You try finding a trained banksman when you need one! I once had to call the police to deal with an illegally parked car obstructing a narrow country lane. When said PC arrived, he simply walked down the road with his back to me, beckoning me from behind to follow. Banksman? The cows watching from a field could have done better.

  • @TMV209 Well said! I agree wholeheartedly.

  • @TMV209 I agree that to reverse without a spotter to assist, would be a safety issue, and considered unsafe in the event of another accident, but everyone is human and mistakes do happen. Because your driving a humongous RED bus, that does not help to make you inconspicuous, and therefore more likely to be called on it. Brings back memories! LOL

  • @TMV209 Very fair comment but the driver could of moved the bus over a bit tighter and then direct traffic to overtake safely rather than sit there waiting for something to happen

  • @TMV209 Your right it is illegal to do so but when the bus driver is in the wrong I wouldnt ave reported him for doing so. Some bus drivers are just stupid. They drive a massive bus so think its ok to just do what they want.

  • @TMV209 Did'nt know it was "illegal" to reverse with passenger's---is this true??...I agree it would be a risky manouver due to blind spots etc

  • @bagz216 NO

  • @TMV209 Bus drivers make mistakes, Are you sure they Carrie people on those things and I've witnessed them jumping red lights.

  • @TMV209 Strange, because in two bus stations near me, the drivers have to reverse out with passengers on!

  • @TMV209 never heard of it being illegal to reverse a bus with passengers.when i was at school my bus driver should have been booked every day

  • @TMV209 I'm not a Bus driver... but you are so right... he/she made a mistake... It must be very stressful driving a Bus in London! ... And as for reversing... what if someone was tight up behind them... say a cyclist... someone crossing the road... he/she would never see them... an accident waiting to happen! ... People should be more tolerant/patient!

  • @TMV209 I am a bus driver and you are correct that without a person that knows what they are doing to guide you back you cannot reverse. Observation is so limited to the rear that you could quite easily roll strait over a car without even knowing.

  • @windbag45 I wish you fuckers would stop waiting until a car is about to overtake (when you're parked) and then pulling out just as we're about to come past. We know you do it on purpose you cunts. As a result, I never let buses out of junctions.

  • @whitbyjet65 Your language and tone shows us just what an uncough person you are. May your underpants rot in hell.

  • @windbag45 You mean 'uncouth' not 'uncough'. And my language & tone is applicable when addressing bus drivers. Your road craft (or lack of it) creates such emotion in other road users. After taxi drivers (their ethinicity will remain unannounced due to the extreme left wing regime we live in) & continental truck drivers, bus drivers are the worst drivers in the known solar system.

  • Respond to this video... Plus if we waited for every car who will not let us out to pass by we would still be at the stop on the following day. You only see it through your own sulfish eyes. Amplify you not letting out the bus by 100 and then you know why we have no choice but to force the issue.

  • @windbag45 You didn't listen to me. I said buses actually wait when the road is clear then, just as a car is about to pass, they indicate & pull out. They could have pulled out when the car was far behind them but they choose to pull out as the car is about to make the passing manoeuvre. I know bus drivers do this on purpose because I used to know a bus driver

  • @whitbyjet65 It's a pointless discussion as you see it through the eyes of a car driver and I through a bus drivers eyes. The reason it says 'give way to bus drivers' in the highway code is because they are slow and ponderous. If car drivers will not give way. Then the bus has to push. What you don't get is that bus drivers are also car drivers but we have the benefit of having driven all types of vehicles. When I see a bus I simply give way. It really is that easy....end of story.

  • @windbag45 You clearly don't listen, do you? I said (I'll keep this as simple as possible) Buses can pull out but they choose not to. Instead, they check their mirror, wait for a car to come along & as it's just about to overtake, the bus driver deliberately pulls out. It's a game they play. What part of that simple explaination are you struggling to understand????????????

  • @windbag45 All very well, I usually give way as well but its difficult when the bus decides to pull out literally just when you are driving past and you are one of the only cars on the road. As if they just couldnt wait one second longer.

  • That is dangerous!

  • I was there, the guy on the bike passing, but the busdriver started driving after the other cars had already started coming from the other side. It blocked traffic completely. A complete luney that busdriver!

  • Ever crossed your mind that the temporary traffic lights may have been faulty? It can happen you know. Also you mention that he refused to reverse, of course he did! It would have been far easier for the car drivers to reverse, after all they can see out their back window to reverse, the bus driver can't.

  • Wow would've been so hard to get him to come real close to the left hand side and wait. Who cares, too bad no one took initiative, idiots

  • what a dildo

  • just as well that aint me driving the bus i would have got out and kicked that dickhead off that motorbike . we all make mistakes wanker

  • like most car drivers its hard to drive a bus

  • I've never driven a bus, but it can't be much different from the lorries I've driven for the last 12 years. I prefer lorries over cars because of the high seating and the big mirrors.

It shouldn't be hard to either go forward and pull over or back it to the intended position for stopping.

  • it is a fair bit diffrent the chasis configuration alone gives it diffrent handeling and ride qaulities, i hold both PCV and HGV it is easier in and around towns to drive a PCV but when it comes to something like this it becomes harder, in a tight situation the tail swing alone causes problems i know on the coach i was driving it was 11 feet far more than a rigid class 2 even more than the class 1 i drive now. they are two totaly diffrent vehicles.

  • I've tried most from 6 ton Toyota Dyna to 32 ton 4-axle Mercedes SK.

Trucks from 6.2 to 12 meters long, 1.92 to 2.6 meter wide.

I've even, many times, pushed a rolloff skip through a narrow gate with both side mirrors collapsed because the hole was too low for carrying the skip.

I've done it with manual, semiautomatic and full automatic transmissions in Scania, MAN, Mercedes, Terberg, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Volvo.

I should thereby know the basics on "differences in handling and tail swing".

  • depending on the size the coach i drove had 11foot tail swing the rear steers aint got such a big kick but its still 7 feet, lorry to coach is a wierd sensation for a while untill you get used to the fact you can put your nose over the kerb about 6 ft, as you stated you never driven a bus i have driven both its diffrent world for a bus opr coach driver lorrys are easier no boxes complain do they .

  • this is so typical of a metroline bus driver their improperly trained and rude!!!!

  • I agree!
