Best instance ever... that 90% of the population of WoW never got to experience past 1 or 2 bosses. Where you had to think outside of the box constantly, be precise, and learn that the content needed all 40 of you, rather than carrying 10-12 people.
well, the most Bosses of naxx40 are difficult like Professor Putricide 25 HC with itemlevel 264 and the 0% buff. Grobbulus for example was very easy, like the Gunship Event :) but you are right the hardest Boss ever in WoW was one of Naxxramas40 ...the 4 Horsemen pre nerf (1.11)... they were hard like LK HC with the 0% Buff and only with items between itemlevel 264 and 277...

Only Feenix vanilla wow private server has naxx same as it was before TBC. Others just fail to replicate it - Feenix is exactly as blizzard was before TBC and wotlk

In the time of the plague, kel thuzad was killed by the paladin arthas, who became a death knight and took kel thuzad back as a lich. after this arthas became the lich king.. so were is the mistake for blizzard? :P

I've only ever played WoW since WOTLK but seeing this gives me goosebumps. I can only imagine what it must have been like in Classic WoW, when Naxx was the endgame. If it wasn't illegal and against the ToS I would probably look at a private server

Rather than trying to accomplish something in WoW, why not try to accomplish something in real life? At least, blizzard cant shut down your life so it will stay with you forever.
Life is about the pursuit of happiness. If you're life is going just dandy, and you are happy with what you have then why can't someone waste time on a game? It brings people joy and entertainment, you don't need to be a productive member of society to have a life. Just do what makes you happy in life and in the end, you'll feel better that you were ok with it, instead of always trying to get more out of it.

Few years ago I realized it that I want more from life, and archieving things in life makes me truly happy - not only while Im gaming. If someone thinks finding motivation is too hard, then try searching some selfmotivation books but dont buy expensive ones, even cheaper ones will do. Following the rules can make differences.
Life goes on no matter what you do. You spend a 3rd of your life sleeping, but life goes on. Everyone is different while some would rather go out and be proactive others may want to peacefully enjoy their small quiet life. Not everyone wants to be someone or do everything they can. The people that spend a majority of their time enjoying themselves with something like gaming are more secure with life than those to go out seeking more to it. Do what makes you happy in life.

@egomaniac654 i don't think he mentioned anything about leveling. blizz decided that they wanted end-game to be more accessible to more players because they want everyone to actually be able to play the game rather than how it was in the past where very, very few people actually saw content.
if you want a challenge, hard modes are there for you.
Anyone can get lvl 232 T9. You still need to run a lot 25m ToC to get lvl 245 T9.
They can walk into ICC but casual guilds can usually only clear the first wing of and maybe some of the other bosses, but that's it. Casuals wont be clearing PP or BQL anytime soon.
Blizz made the change to progression so players aren't forced to run every single raid numerous times in order to catch up.
Blizzard understands the mistakes of their past and they did an excellent job improving upon them.
@Ashfi3ld Exactly. Most raids never get past any bosses beyond Saurfang. I've killed Marrowgar 11 times in 10-man ICC and 14 times in 25-man ICC, but I've only killed Blood-Queen Lana'thel three times in 10-man ICC and have not killed Sindragosa or the Lich King yet.
The thing is that because tanks now got 50-60k hp(icc geared) this isn't a hard raid any more. Not even the WOTLK version is hard(it was quite hard pre-ulduar but not impossible).

The only thing stopping someone from trying is special circumstances, like Hakkar's mind control crap, that makes him reset constantly. Some bosses NEED more than one tank to deal with, even if they aren't powerful anymore. >.<
@outlier1985 I recently managed to defeat Hakkar as a Fury Warrior (I hardly take any damage from the monsters, and the DPS helps bring them down) with a shaman healer. The shaman healed himself and used Earth Shield when I got mind-controlled, so we were able to defeat Hakkar within around 6-8 casts of his MC. What classes do you and your friend use?
@Mortiphasm We were mainly trying for the tiger mount with our mains(A ret pally and a surv hunter), and decided to give Hakkar a shot. If we'd actually had a healer, it would've been fine, but he'd MC me and reset himself constantly.
Speaking of the mounts in Zul'gurub, if you have any desire to get them, I'd advise you go for it now. When Cataclysm hits, ZG won't be a raid anymore, it will be opened up as a leveling zone.

in fact, naxxramas always aws "on float", but it became an asaultable citadel at the WotLK... if u make the Death Knights' quests chain, u'll see there's a mailbox in somewhere of the crusader's village (near the stables), and there's a letter there saying Naxxramas had traslated into dde sky and moved to Dragonblight...

So that's how Kel'Thuzad came to be? In Warcraft 3 he started off as a simple scourge necromancer that acted as a lieutenant to Arthas when he first became a Death Knight. I never knew he was forced into the scourge. Was the 'voice' he was talking about Nerzhul?

no what he's saying is he wants WoW to have a challenge to it so people actually feel like they accomplished something... rather than what it is today... Did you play vanilla wow? Do you understand how much more there was to wow back then? These days Blizz has decided that end game content is all that matters, and even that should be easy so people can get rich fast and ding 80 in a matter of days... What he's saying is wow should be challenging enough for the people that started the game.

@egomaniac654 i don't think he mentioned anything about leveling. blizz decided that they wanted end-game to be more accessible to more players because they want everyone to actually be able to play the game rather than how it was in the past where very, very few people actually saw content.
if you want a challenge, hard modes are there for you.

Anyone can get lvl 232 T9. You still need to run a lot 25m ToC to get lvl 245 T9.
They can walk into ICC but casual guilds can usually only clear the first wing of and maybe some of the other bosses, but that's it. Casuals wont be clearing PP or BQL anytime soon.
Blizz made the change to progression so players aren't forced to run every single raid numerous times in order to catch up.
Blizzard understands the mistakes of their past and they did an excellent job improving upon them.

@Ashfi3ld Exactly. Most raids never get past any bosses beyond Saurfang. I've killed Marrowgar 11 times in 10-man ICC and 14 times in 25-man ICC, but I've only killed Blood-Queen Lana'thel three times in 10-man ICC and have not killed Sindragosa or the Lich King yet.

The thing is that because tanks now got 50-60k hp(icc geared) this isn't a hard raid any more. Not even the WOTLK version is hard(it was quite hard pre-ulduar but not impossible).

@Mortiphasm Actually, old world raids are a lot simpler than that anymore. My friend and I can 2-man most 40 man Vanilla raids now. The only thing stopping someone from trying is special circumstances, like Hakkar's mind control crap, that makes him reset constantly. Some bosses NEED more than one tank to deal with, even if they aren't powerful anymore. >.<

@outlier1985 I recently managed to defeat Hakkar as a Fury Warrior (I hardly take any damage from the monsters, and the DPS helps bring them down) with a shaman healer. The shaman healed himself and used Earth Shield when I got mind-controlled, so we were able to defeat Hakkar within around 6-8 casts of his MC. What classes do you and your friend use?

@Mortiphasm We were mainly trying for the tiger mount with our mains(A ret pally and a surv hunter), and decided to give Hakkar a shot. If we'd actually had a healer, it would've been fine, but he'd MC me and reset himself constantly.
Speaking of the mounts in Zul'gurub, if you have any desire to get them, I'd advise you go for it now. When Cataclysm hits, ZG won't be a raid anymore, it will be opened up as a leveling zone.

kel thuzad was a member of kern torn (duno how to spell) and he was an arch mage who the lich king blessed as a evil arch wizard who had to serve arthas through life and death =) (it was kel'thuzad who transformed general wildrunner "alliance assasin" into a banshee when she was tasked to eliminate the lich king (arthas)

Naxxramas was introduced in patch 1.11 - sadly, only a few months before Burning Crusade's release, so not many people had a chance to see it. The Necropoli outside the Capitals were "generic" ones, Naxxramas itself was above the Eastern Plaguelands, and they only remained for the duration of the "Scourge Invasion" event that came with Naxx's arrival.
Because so few people got to see it, Blizzard brought back Naxx, and the Scourge invasion for Wrath of the Lich King.

Sargeras will come back and yes he is still alive, who the the demon who possesd Mediev to open the dark portal? That was Sargeras, I assume that he will be the last boss in WoW.

Mediev was corupted by Sargeras, and then Mediev died and was able to return uncorupted. Why do you think he screwd the legion over? So he is not alive. There are speculations that a part of his spirit exists, but that sure as hell isnt life. Anyway I doubt he would fully return since there are no champions and no amount of them in fact that can even come close to his power. And who said WoW will ever have a "last" boss? As long as it makes money, it will never die.
