I work in a home studio, and my landlord & neighbors have apparently never met a silence they couldn't obliterate with the infuriating buzz of a 2-stroke engine, blowing clouds of allergenic dust and the occasional leaf or gum wrapper from one barren stretch of asphalt to another, then back again. My crazy neighbor likes to mow his grass on his riding mower with NO light after dark when it's raining. Then he jumps on his bicycle that HAS a light and goes up and down the neighborhood streets squeezing his clown horn constantly. I yell at him but he never stops. He's totally NUTS!

I think your neighbor is on to something. I imagine he used to be normal, until he had to live next to someone that drove him nuts. I really think the problem is that houses are too close together. U cant live that close to someone and not get annoyed at some point. Smokey is right on a large part of it, but there is another side. If your neighbor is obnoxious, you should be the stronger and have the patience to be the example, instead of stooping to the same level.

This guy has a huge yard and no one bugs him. He's been a nutcase for years. We lived a few houses over back in 1986 and he was crazy then. He putts along on his riding mower but the deck is up so high the blades are nowhere near the grass! And his favorite time to do it is after dark or while it's raining. He also likes to go on the road with it and make a circle, like he's won a race or something! LOL.He also says the End is near.I'm wondering which of his many colored sombreroes he goes with

His latest antic involved foam cushions. He stood them up against the side of his house, while wearing boots, shorts, a raincoat and rainhat, since it was RAINING at the time, then proceeded to turn his garden hose on the cushions. He left them there for about 10 minutes, then put them on his sideporch. A little later, a squirrel jumped up on his porch and he stomped his feet at it. It took off and ran up a tree, then chattered loudly at him for over 10 minutes, until he took off on his bike.

People are not considrate of others anymore. They play loud boom boxes as they drive by. Personally I hate that racket. Some guy goes by my house at 2:30 in the morning with the boom box so loud it rattles my windows. He's lucky I don't have a gun. Whe I was growing up my mama would have whip me if I bothered other people like that. People don't care anymore because they think that they are the center of the universe and life has to stop just for them. They are assholes.
