Dan Gilbert has to please his constituents(Cavalier fans). He said what many Cavs fans feel about LeBron's exit from Cleveland.

If Gilbert was more mild mannered about his LeBron comments, saying the Cavs just simply regretted losing him and they were moving on with life, some Cavs fans may have felt Gilbert was a wimp.
