Apple is too mainstream. The kind of marketing skills Apple is using is just too impressive, no doubt. Samsung used to manufacture lousy phones back in the days, but as Korea is rising, their brand equity rises as well. S2 is a major leap from their original idea of smart phones and they just nailed it. Now they're the two most marketed phones in the market.

iPhones are simple so simple people can use them without having to think too much, makes it easier for them to mold their way of thinking into your pudding brain. Samsung didn't copy Apple. I am using the Galaxy S2 for 3 months and I am glad I bought it. Its really AMAZING. The Barista is going to be history soon :). Apple sucks compared to the Android SG 2....

@SteelyMcBeam777 I can shed some light here, my friend at work and myself both bought phones on the same day, he got the iphone 4s and I got the galaxy s2, we both had problems with our phones running the batteries down to fast and both phones were simple to fix, in my case I just had to stop some unneeded things running in the background that were sapping the power levels and the same goes for my friends phone, I like the iphone but I bought the galaxy s2 because to me it's what I need.

Well, my iPhones have had worse battery life than my Galaxy S II with stock battery so that's really not a valid statement. With an extended battery, oh damn my phone lasts 2 days without charging. (Wifi enabled, auto-sync enabled, auto-brightness, 400 texts a day, browsing, playing Angry Birds, etc.) So yeah, enjoy your locked in phone while I enjoy the vast potential of my device.
