  • Incredible job, sir. Not only the flawless performance, but also all the transcription work and and the "registration" preparation, which must take quite some time... You are an artist, really. I'm now eagerly waiting for a video of the same on your pipe organ in Nice!! Greetings from Le Mans

  • awesome performance man! super

  • awesome performance man!

  • Awesome!

  • really awesome!

  • Great work! That's far a not easy piece!

  • wow!

  • Bravo!

  • Who cares how he's doing it. This is amazing!! Thanks for the video!

  • Bizarrely thrown by this, I was surprised it actually sounds quite good! : S

  • Dang...really cool! But HOW did you do all those dynamics if this is electric? I can't even see you adjusting anything so I'm wondering how!

  • He controls the expression using a pedal with his right foot.

  • The Electone has initial touch and aftertouch keyboards and pedals. You can't see he is adjusting anything, because all the approprioate settings are previously made and saved. They can be recalled by pressing a footswitch at the right time with the right foot . In other videos you might see the 16 buttons between the manuals, where only one at the time is lit. When you see a change here, it means a new panel setting has been recalled. It's a wonderful system!

  • the good old volume pedal ;) which nearly all electronic organs have

  • wow. fantastic. well done. i got goose bumps.

  • Je t'aime tu me manque j'suis fière de mon papa.

    bisoux

  • JUST FABULOUS!!!!!

  • Magnificent! Your playing has brought joy to my day. Thank you.

  • just awsum man well done :)

  • Pretty good interpretation of mars, the beginner of war, the holst planets... I also play the electone EL-900, I´m now practicing this song for a contest.

    GREAT BRAVO

  • FANTASTIC

    FANTASTIC

  • Wow! Pretty impressive. A jazz synth guy and classical pianist myself, I have to say great job! I must look into the EL900.

    Really cool, thanks for posting!

  • This is very good indeed. If more ppl could arrange and produce music like yours on their keyboards/synths back home, the world would be a much better place. You are brilliant my friend, please interpret more musicians if you prefer. Thank you! Hugs and cheers!

  • Thanks a lot. i fell very happy.

  • I enjoyed your Imperial March so much that I added this video to my favorites before it even started playing. That's how good you are.

  • how on earth ?

  • Thats so cool. You must be like a genius to figure out all those voices and notes.

  • I enjoyed this, good man!

  • how cool.... my high school marching band played a show based around Holst's Planets so its cool to hear it in different places.

  • Wow! creating an orchestra piece on a mere keyboard. That is incredible. I can't fathom how you did it.

it wasn't quite the same, but considering it was made on one instrument it was understandable. I would suggest that you take the tempo down a little, or maybe just put a little rubato in. You're the only player, so you can do rubato.

  • Love it.

  • Superb! Mr. Eliot is to be commended! There are a few minor flubs, but recreating a huge symphony orchestra with a mere two hands and feet is a major accompishment - and at such a fast tempo! Bravo!

  • =) Great job. I myself do not really like playing this piece as it almost seems like a chore(most of what us violist have is kinda, well, annoning ,triplet two three four and five for a whole page, half of which is in con lengeno, is kinda annoning) But I do like to listen to this piece it is truly a work of musical genius from the man that gave us so many great pieces(The Planets, and St. Paul's Suite being my personal favorites)

But back to the point, Great Job on a Great Piece.

  • i love playing this song but i play it in a saxophone :P

  • magnificent, arrangement, bravo...............

  • WOW! amazing! Holst would be proud...and scared by such technology:P

  • Very impressed - well done

  • I rather enjoyed that. Thank you for posting this. I've always liked this piece, but you managed to make it very rich and full.

  • i love this song and i love playing this song

  • Nice! Well done!

  • That was Incredible!!...........Thanks!!

  • This is very good. I'd love to hear this played live on a cathedral organ.

  • OH GOD YES, I am so with you on that! The might and POWER of such an instrument, piping (no pun intended, really) out some of the best ever written music...

  • It's HOLST! Williams is my favorite composer though and he did borrow lots of ideas from Holst's "Planets". For those of you who are rock fans, check out Diamond Head's "Am I Evil?"; they morphed the "Mars" intro a bit into their song and stole the rhythm from Deep Purple's "Child In Time". All good artists/songs anyhow.

  • impressive john william orchestra !

  • Sounds a lot like Kitaro's effort- Well done..

  • Yeah,it doese sort of sound that way
