  • i love clapton he is my idol, but live he is utter crap(not in a musical sense) the only words he said were thank you and someones name.

  • Yes, excellent! Great quality sound/hq video - well done!

  • @blueskev1 Cheers mate

  • I was out there that day at SECC.. I can say only one thing "I HAVE SEEN THE GOD".

  • I was there, great music, shite entertainment. He is the most uncharismatic musician i've ever seen yet the most talented

  • i also believe he was very angry about the poor sono work....the base kept on feedbacking into the mics....eric got interrupted a couple of time during a song....SECC better get their equipment checked out!!!!

  • thanks for this! I was in third row and loved it all, highlight for me was Old Love...totally blissful! going to see him next week with Winwood at RAH...can't wait.

  • i am so glad i was part of this :) made many people happy that night !

  • the parents went with friends to this

  • i was there too, brilliant show, loved the keyboard player on ther right, just old school soloing, the one on the left was just a show off most of the time, what was the name of the support band again?

  • @1996Gordon5 Support was Andy Fairweather Low

  • @1996Gordon5 looks a fantastic gig.going to cardiff gig on sunday 15 may cant wait.

  • I was there. Have to admit I enjoyed the keyboards being an organist myself. Yes he maybe did look a bid bored, and I might have expected a bit more engagement with the audience between songs...and maybe full version of Layla.

But a great night all the same.

  • He's extremelly talented but i found that he looked bored.

He wasn't close to the public at all.

I wanted him to play :

-Change the world (my favourite song)

    -Tears in heaven

    -Forever Man

    -Knocking on heaven's doors

But i was kind of "pissed off" that he did not play these songs.

Am i the only one ?

    He was still incredible music.

  • @Peleph I was 2 rows from the front and he looked more knackered than bored + he never says much to the audience as he lets the music do the talking. In terms of being pissed off at him not doing the above songs, his back catalogue is a mile long + he could cover any song+there are only a few stick ons he plays. Anyway he doesnt play Tears In Heaven anymore, he played Change the World throughout the 90s, Forever Man was done on the Winwood tour last year and KOHD hasnt been played in decades

  • awsome night!! the keys were amazin to!!!!

  • i was there last nite it was magic...we all thought the keyboard player did get carried away too...but still it was great to see and hear eric sing and play...good vid by the way uploader

  • @scoobymadterry I totally agree. The keyboard guy was getting too much air time

  • @pathpub Great video. I've got Crossroads on my channel, I was much further away then you but its still not bad. cheers

  • I was there too, brilliant gig, but agree with gazzaboy, a bit much keyboards, but still brilliant

  • i wiz ther it was fucking ace

  • i was there too. Ace gig but bit much keyboards? Old love was the highlightfor me . Amazing solo

  • phenomenal gig, best £60 spent in a long time.

  • What a lovely song! Remind me of a very wonderful man I know. Miss him GREAT, Must have been fantastic to listen to Mr Slowhand in RL <3

  • Great posting, the morning after the night before......I couldnt make the gig so hopefully youve got a few more those of us who missed out.

  • @cripzrus Sorry mate. Only managed the one... SECC staff were quite tough on the vids

  • i was in the front centre block and good vid
