@DoWonSong I like the Super Sonic amp for solos like this. I would put the treble around 6 and the bass around 4. That's all preference, but definitely love the sound of that amp "super sonic"

I haven't gotten much better at the song. If you check out my new series lesson #1 you will find a link to the guitar teacher who learned canon rock from. His name is Trond Vold. I got most of the version of this song from him.

I used to think that Trans-Siberian Orchestra's version of Cannon was the best ever (well you could get some nice ideas for your 2012 version), but this one is PERFECT!!! it has the most hard rock feel and filled with lots of tricky licks and arrangements... you blew my mind away, man! congrats from Aztec lands!

You should never have to LOCK your tremelo. It's a cheap guitar is why you seem to have to to keep in tune.

@GEguitar Yes, you do have to lock the nuts at the end of the neck for your tremelo. Sure, it's a cheaper guitar, but why else are the lock nuts at the end?

@Crysdi2 I got it at a guitar store. It's an Lm product. I couldn't find the strap on the internet. Perhaps it's a discontinued product because even the official website for Lm didn't have the strap in their catalogs. I would check with your guitar store.

I just got my pod ux2 and I just dont know how to really use it. what i really want to do is record the tones from pod farm and jam with a backing track and at the same time record the whole thing so that i cud make awesome videos like you.

@gawamarabunta Thank you so much! Ok, I can help you. I use Reaper. It is really a free program - they say it is not, but it really is. The only thing you have to put up with is a 5 sec nag to buy their product. Reaper is in its full version all the time and doesn't run out. Once you download Reaper, you can drag a backtrack into it. Ctrl+T for a new track. Press "ar" to arm for recording. I always change the "Left Mono" to "Stereo LR" Located on the track box.

@gawamarabunta .....Now you will want to Ctrl+P for preferences. Select "Device" under the Audio division. Select a mic input. On mine it is a Digital Audio ..something...haha..forgot. Anyway, it's not the "line in" thing - it's an input you will only see if your interface is hooked up to your computer.

Also check out this tutorial i made if you need help with Pod Farm.

I love it.. :) Have been playing guitar for 2 years, like 4 hours a day sometimes (; Im on a christian boarding school with 130 pupils, and like 100 of them is musicians.. What you did with your version that I liked so much versus the jerryc version, your's flows together much nicer. I love your guitar tone much more as well. Gives canon a much more interesting sound. Also, at moments at like 2:33, that's a nice sounding improvisation, if I'm hearing it right your alternating played note and open note with hammer on? Similar to Canon metal? You also didn't overuse harmonics which I found that Mattrach version does.
