Sounds nice. I think chris martin plays the acoustic version with capo on 4 and high E tuned down to C.

respectfully i disagree, i play entirely by ear and seeing this live twice.. and listening to live versions for over a year there's a constant drone of C# throughout the song.. i personally think the drone is of either just the highest two strings, or even the bass string because of the drone and key its in. happy playing.

I hate having to use anything other than my own 2 hands and standard tuning when playing guitar. I sort of want it to be "play anything, anywhere" so i always practice everything the hard way.

@SirSmokeal0t thats not really the hard way, there are certain songs you cant play in standard tuning unless you re-arrange them. As for capo? thats just transposing it, it doesnt stop you from playing it in a different key on if there isnt one about. :)

how in the hell do you have 3.5 out of five dude this is how it is! It's just missing the breakdown chords! If you listen to chris martin doing it, either acoustically alone or with the band you can hear that constant C# all the time.
5 stars man, well done. Anyone who gets you lower than 4.5 is tripping out of their mind.
